Pure talk, what about the million of millions the US" give" via Kamala Harris to the Jamaican prime Minister for the hurricane relief to help the people 😊
It's very factual, to the amount of development going all across Jamaica, you don't need eyes to see. I'm not politically oriented, but someone who studied economics, Jamaica's economy, turn around is actually a miracle. Moving from one of the most indebted countries to the least with passport index improving, gdp, unemployment, poverty, etc. There are so many opportunities for self-employment and business people. Can you believe people are paid monthly to get qualified in a skill up to level 4?
I am highlighting a serious issue that many Jamaicans are dealing with right now. The focus on repaying debt and these large-scale development projects seems more about meeting international standards and showing progress to the outside world, but when you really look at it, the lives of the people living here tell a completely different story. They talk about unemployment, but the way it’s defined doesn’t reflect what’s actually happening on the ground. It doesn’t capture the underemployment or the struggles so many people face in low-paying jobs or the informal economy. Coming back to Jamaica after living abroad was a shock for me because there’s such a huge difference between what’s promoted globally and the real challenges we face here. Even as a highly skilled person, I find it hard to get by because the opportunities are limited, the cost of living keeps rising, and wages just aren’t moving. So, while we see all these "developments," I have to wonder, "What about the people?" The reality is, a lot of Jamaicans aren’t feeling the benefits in their day-to-day lives, despite what it might look like on paper. It’s a clear contradiction between what the government is focused on internationally and what’s actually happening for the people living and working in Jamaica. The real question is whether these so-called advancements are actually sustainable and benefiting the people, or if they’re just catering to external interests.

I wish she was more forceful and explicit in condemning Israel's atrocities and calling out the US in not doing more at controlling the flow of guns, including high powered rifles into Jamaica and the Caribbean.
Weak weaker weaknesses
Go and listen to the Barbados minister, l cause listen to her speak over and over this was poor by Jamaica
That's all she does is speak. Doesn't she have her country debt to focus on for being the most indebted country in the caribbean? If speaking can help then let her speak however, Jamaicans have spoken enough, and it's time to focus on our own issues.
The JLP is doing a Wonderful job in Jamaica..
People over seas please help who's back at home
Hanover needs running water in the pipes, water commission not doing nothing! 😔
I have been watching, I was wondering where is 🇯🇲 Jamaica?? What kind of fluff is this? Shame on you Jamaica! I am extremely disappointed, when did we loose our morals for humanity. We are a nation who speak truth, and hold hypocrisy to the highest standard, speak for the nation of Jamaica, and call It as it's!!! This is Mediocre at best. Salute to President Mia Mottley, Trinidad, Guyana, Malaysia, Nayin Bukele, foreign minister of Burkina Faso, Malawi, South Africa, Grenada well done, Thank you for keeping hope for humanity.
Lukewarm, still. Big PM Motie of Barbados.
Glad of the mention of Haiti and Cuba.
Good hen!😘
Then oonuh really pay plane fare fi come suh far fi seh nuttn. Give back taxpayer dem money.
White peoples ruling Jamaica 🇯🇲 and Jamaicans are comfortable with that and yet still Jamaicans are talking about freedom somewhere else. Please free yourself first before taking about other peoples freedom .
Jamaicans?? WHO'S BUSINESS IT IS IF YOU WANNA BELIEVE THAT JAMAICA EQUATES TO BLACKNESS???😂😂That's yall business ,we Jamaicans already know that different events brought many different people to this beautiful island .

😂😂😂😂
Where is the money your party got to help the Jamaican people. You and your party PM stole every cent
As a jamaican, I'm very disappointed in that she never mentioned anything about the current situation in Gaza. Every other Caribbean country did. I'm sure we would like to have someone speak on our behalf in the event of crisis.
Who do you think will help Jamaica in a crisis?
@waitaminute2015 Jamaica as an island did not get where she is by herself.
Jamaicans are well known for their, resilience and morals, which was obviously lacking in the speech.. looking back at ALL other Caribbean countries that spoke at the assembly, Jamaica was the ONLY island that did not mention anything about the conflict. The conflict in Haiti was mentioned though, it is just selective outrage and we all have an idea why.
@@Simmonich123Fool
@@Simmonich123 Jamaica has been known for resilience and also the one mostly destabilized due to that. Where were the other islands resilience when we were being destabilized and still are? Oh they were busy minding their business and laughing at Jamaica. If they chose to now speak then good for them, we can't be the only ones to alway stick our heads out.
Nothing but lies
Time to find common cause. With a different arena. And person. Who speaks well of the issues. We all need a hearing out on.
I am very shame as a Jamaican with this woman lie's 🙆🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Big up Andrews 1 more time 😮😮😮
