Both patterns are beautiful. I think the diamond pattern would be great in Christmas colors. It reminds me of large ornaments. Thank you Donna as always for the inspiration.
Awwwwwww I miss seeing you quilt them! Or at least one! As you lay out the Wave 🌊Runner pattern, which is my fav btw, I was already trying to guess what thread🧵color you were going to pick!😂
Both of those quilts are beautiful. I’m learning so much about sewing curves from you and I thank you. And please thank your son for his excellent video skills so we can see exactly how you do each step.
I needed a Donna Jordan video this morning. Thank you. I love the ripple effect quilt in the colors you are showing with the unique border. But when you showed us the second layout, it made me think of Christmas ornaments and now I think it would be fun to do that version in Christmas colors! Have a great weekend to you and all of your Jordan Fabric family.
me too. She is such a blessing. I almost feel guilty when I want more of Donna because life happens to all us and then she posts 2 amazing quilts. Thank you, Donna! ❤
Both are gorgeous and the fabric choices are sensational! I've not seen a JORDAN FABRICS quilt I have not liked. Donna, you are such a great educator and very inspirational! I'm not afraid to quilt anymore, because of your tutorials! Thank you! 👍😊❤
I love the diamond layout, just fascinating. You are going to have a backlog of quilts to quilt by the time your machine is fixed. I hope we get to see all the quilts again once they are quilted. Thank you for your wonderful tutorials. ❤
They both look wonderful...love the autumnal colors. I like the line quilt better than the diamonds. Thanks for your wonderful informational tutorials. Love to watch your tutorials everyday. So inspirational!
Hello Donna, it's good to see you again. I find the diamond shapes very interesting. But of course I like the wavy version as well. I appreciate the way you change up borders, it shows us that we can alter the basic patterns and make the quilt more personal.
I love them both and they are my favorite colors! If I had to choose only one, I would choose the abstract diamonds. Thank you for another wonderful video, Donna!
If I have to choose I guess the ribbon. That being said, I love the diamond one also! The color choices are amazing and right up my alley! Thank you for sharing!
It’s a tie IMHO. Yet another video illustrating why quilting is so pleasantly addictive. Rearranging the blocks to create 2 totally different and beautiful quilts is such a bonus; then your final version (with blocks offset by column) creates a 3rd quilt top. Superb job as always, Donna & Team. THANK YOU for inspiring so many of us viewers!!
Oh my,,, you make hard to choose. Lolol I live the fabric colors, I love both.... And what a different way of cutting the blocks!!!!! So awesome.... But I do like the wave pattern, it really looked like water running over rocks. Just beautiful, again you knocked it out of the ball park... ⚾
Love them both..I think the wave one you did is more interesting. The give away quilt is amazing. I'd love to win it. Thanks Donna for all you do making the videos for us to learn from & enjoy.
It's a good day when Donna Jordan shows up in my feed! You have a great eye for fabrics and you demonstrate precision without the pressure to be perfect. I have learned so much from you. As to the quilts, I like the abstract diamonds best. I like the symmetry of it.
I prefer the wave runner version. I think I would make it in red, white and blue to resemble a flag. Thank you for all your videos. They are inspiring.
The batiks you chose are gorgeous! You always inspire me to create. Both layouts are beautiful, but the "pebbled" border on the wave runner, did it for me 😊 I love how you come up with special borders for your quilts. Thank you for your great instructional videos!
Sewing the curved pieces and squaring them was interesting. Real pretty quilt and colors. Thank you so very much for all your instruction, Donna🌹 Love both stripes and diamonds😁
One of my favourite things about this block is how forgiving it is. No worries about matching seams and no points plus lots of room to square them up. The ones I have made - I started with 10" squares and squared to 8-1/2".
Both of them are beautiful, as everything you do. You are an excellent teacher and apart from wonderful projects, I can learn English with you. Thank you!
Really like both quilts--the wave has a more "traditional" feel but the diamonds seem different and unique. Love the batiks! I really like your snowball "pebble" border. It's a great idea!
I have to say I like the stripes layout better. I love how you inspire us to be creative and to make a pattern our own. The pieced border gives an extra special touch. Thank You!
Hi Donna what a fabulous pattern and what wonderful colours. I like both designs but the wave is the best. Thank you so much for all your tips and tricks and all your time showing this video. The video master is a pro as one can see clearly all the stitching. Thanks once again. 🌻
I'm all about Symmetrical, so it's the wavy diamonds for me. I love the wide border fabric. Much better than the stripey one! You are so fabulous Donna and your video production is superior ♥️
I love the batiks you chose. Both patterns are uniquely different. Wave runner and seaweed in my eyes. The border makes them both very lush in appearance.
I really like both! I do like the pebbles in the border on the stripes. But I also think the diamonds would make a great Christmas quilt. What a fun tutorial! Thanks, Donna!
I love how informative your videos are. Curves look scary to this beginner quilter, but watching your process makes me excited to give it a try! I love both designs, but the rippled lines caught my eye first. ❤️
Really like both but having to choose the stripes, or waves, would be my first choice. Thank you for all your wonderful, & detailed (so informative) video tutorials… love ‘em! Patrice
Stripes!😊 And Donna, did you know you are world-famous? I was watching a TH-cam video filmed in Great Britain and the quilter referred to “Donna Jordan’s excellent video tutorials“!🎉🎉🎉😊 (But we already knew about your fantastic abilities!)
Both patterns are great! I like the Diamond shape best! Donna your such a wonderful instructor, you make everything look so easy, even for beginners ! Thank you !❤
I love watching Jordan and her hubby. They make quilting addictive. Love the simple instructions and the Cozy patterns that are easy to follow. I turned 80 this yr so I don't do as much as I used to, but I eñjoy the process and choosing my own color ways. It's very therapeutic and cheaper than a shrink. If nothing else, take your fabric stash out and pet it. It's refreshing. Happy quilting. Thx for the videos most helpful for people who don't get around much anymore. .
I like both, but my favorite is the one that looks like a wavy path. You do such Beautiful work. Thank you for showing us how to do a wavy block. Looking forward to your next project. Bye! 😊
Both quilts are pretty. It's difficult to decide which one I like better. I guess it would depend on where I wanted to use it. So happy to see another tutorial. Thank you!
Wow! I love this technique! I like them both, but I like the diamond shapes best. I love your videos and have learned so much! Thank you for sharing your work and love of quilting! ❤❤😊
These are such fun! it's a tough call, but I think the diamond is just a tiny bit more intriguing. Thanks for another great tutorial. The border idea is fantastic.
Donna, I love the Diamonds. The colors are so typical for a wedding quilt that , I want to make for my Grandson and his fiance, they are real fans 0f all of our State Parks. I hpe it will remain Memorable for many years to come. Thank-you for helping me make that big decision that I wanted to Surprise them with. What would us quilters do without Donna?
Hi Donna! I really like both patterns. The diamond pattern sort of reminds me of those hanging twirling yard ornaments, and Christmas ornaments. Many thanks to you and your family for making quilting so much fun, and informative. I say to all of my quilting friends, "let me introduce you to my friend, Donna! She has tons of very helpful video tutorials, and tons of great fabrics!"
Both patterns are beautiful. I think the diamond pattern would be great in Christmas colors. It reminds me of large ornaments. Thank you Donna as always for the inspiration.
I didn't see that until you pointed it out, kimtorell1781. Now I can't decide! LOL
I agree, the diamond pattern would look great in XMas fabrics
I was thinking the same.
I am entirely new to quilting, but I thought the same thing! Big, beautiful Christmas ornaments. 🎄
That would be an awesome Christmas quilt!
Awwwwwww I miss seeing you quilt them! Or at least one! As you lay out the Wave 🌊Runner pattern, which is my fav btw, I was already trying to guess what thread🧵color you were going to pick!😂

Diamond for sure. Thanks for another great tutorial 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Always looking to see if she has posted another video, she's amazing
I had the same thought that the alternate layout looks like big Christmas ornaments.
Agree !
I saw ornaments as well! I figured I saw ornaments because I’ve been watching a lot of Christmas in July movies on Hallmark. 😁😆
The camera work showing you stitch the curves was excellent, as was your explanation, Donna.
Both are gorgeous and the fabric choices are sensational! I've not seen a JORDAN FABRICS quilt I have not liked. Donna, you are such a great educator and very inspirational! I'm not afraid to quilt anymore, because of your tutorials! Thank you! 👍😊❤
Fabulous quilts Donna. It's the stripes for me. Love the colours you have chosen. They are very calming.Thank you for another wonderful video.
I love the diamond layout, just fascinating. You are going to have a backlog of quilts to quilt by the time your machine is fixed. I hope we get to see all the quilts again once they are quilted. Thank you for your wonderful tutorials. ❤
That’s exactly what I was thinking! When she gets it back it won’t stop for weeks on end!! 😂
One of my favorite patterns of all time - thanks for the refreshing update to this old favorite!
The abstract diamonds make me think of Christmas ornaments. Love both patterns.
They both look wonderful...love the autumnal colors. I like the line quilt better than the diamonds. Thanks for your wonderful informational tutorials. Love to watch your tutorials everyday. So inspirational!

Like them both but the curvy diamonds is my favorite. Always look forward to your emails and videos. Have a wonderful day.
