There are more different types of consoles thank you for going over the game stick. There are other types that are out there that I wonder can I just be hooked up to the TV or do they have to go through a PC. Me personally I'm looking for more of the ones that can be hooked up to the TVs. Great video.

If I'm not mistaken, this was a leftover TV stick that repurposed as emulator machine. Also, those gamepads are cheap as hell. Back in mid 2000s they were sold as low as 1 USD (the cabled version).
I recently picked up a y8 stick because it was super cheap, but this one looks like a decent buy too.

64 GB is just not enough !! Better yet , a 512 GB. Of course it would cost way more !! But this one costs only $25 !!!
You cannot expect the more demanding games to run on these game sticks with only 64 GB on the SD card !! If you prefer to play the more demanding games plus modern games, you will need to spend lots more ! Preferably, a system that has at least a 2 TB hard drive. You have lots of options as a gamer. Tue hard drives come in lots of configurations - anywhere from 2 TB up to 96 TB. Usually , the game pads included are not that good with the lower priced game systems !!
as you said, it is the same as the X2+Plus S905 game stick. but the "new" stick costs more for *no* good reason. haha

I have 2 capture cards at this moment and it gives a massive problem. Incl. audio delay.
But .. i can try sometimes 😅
Was thinking this gives it the authentic wicked vibe this way. Capture is not that bad 😅
@@WickedGamerCollector Thanks for the reply. Capture is normally fine if you use a hdmi splitter and send one to the TV so you can play and another to the capture device.

is there gamestick that comes with android system with emuelec running from sd card?
Main problem is that these cheap game sticks have really old android on it so even if you can swap you can't really use the android part.
@@WickedGamerCollector im still using android 4 🤣😂 i dont depend on netflix or any other VOD apps that needs subscription. all i need is youtube and casting feature. will be good if i can find 1 to replace those projectors or tv with old android built-in that runs emuelec. 🤩🤩

The whole stick thing is kind of pointless in my opinion. It’s not really faster than a box design because you still need an adapter to fit it in the port. It’s not that much smaller when you realize the controllers take up more space than the console in either shape. And it comes with the risk of burning up because everything’s packed too close together. Ultimately it’s a gimmick. It appeals to the idea that you want a fast, small solution, while in reality it’s neither of those.
😂 let's say its 240 by 144 but it's still good for the price or 8k. Still nice

Beside that noticed people search on them where game stick is a general thing now we do have many different versions with all kind of different software. Maybe .. JUST maybe there is something that works ok 😝😝
@@WickedGamerCollectorSome of my friends love these game sticks. They were gamers years ago and but them for nostalgia reasons, which they are perfect for.
They are not all crap for the casual user or someone who is feeling nostalgic. They are good for retro arcade rooms at home. Plus they are handy to take on holiday, or to use in spare rooms at home. You can give them away as cheap fun presents. You can add to the builds to improve them. I have 3 gaming rooms in my house and I use multiple types of these kind of drives along with actual hardware along with my actual retro hardware. But I'm thankful for the ease of such devices. Though in this case I can get an HD for half the price with so much more so it displays what is possible out there and it important for game preservation as well. I recommend using the for presents and on old CRTs if you have any.
