So many of these boxes are coming out that are all basically the same with different generic controllers, it'd be nice to have a comparison or a sort of "this is the one" guide, especially since the price point and system support/systems actually functional usually end up being close.
We have gone in and updated the ratio to 4:3, pixel-perfect bezels, changed the shader, and updated the theme as I am not a fan of spinning wheels. This is a super impressive game stick compared to previous models, and as you mentioned, the controllers are quite nice considering. You can update the settings and then lock it down again to ensure it doesn't get broken. Sussed out and although on the box, this has no wifi, but will work with external dongle. Quietly Impressed!
@@WickedGamerCollector YesI did. I got a full refund. And I quit subscribing to the youtube channels that were shilling that junk for a referral fee. I love your channel!
It's better than most for now, no gba and no genesis lags, but unlocking settings improves things I wonder if someone will come up with a 3D modeled custom case for these HDMI dongles, so there can be a better heatsink and a fan (if a little bit of noise isn't too bad while if it's possible)
@@alexojideagu you'll need to go to PC to run the nice filters as they are quite CPU intensive. Found a scanline I really like and makes name look amazing on large screens, but wont run on anything below n100 :-(
@@electroarcade Sure, some of the very best need powerful machines. Although there are still decent scanlines on things like Retro Arch that run very well on even basic hardware. I run scanlines on Amazon Firestick Retro Arch and it looks good, especially at sitting distance.
So, you're whining about the heat build-up in the original casing? TIP: Put the device in a case double the size in width and, drill some holes into it, then attach 2 mini fans back and front on the casing (air in, air out) and presto = AIRFLOW! It'll cost you maybe another 5 bucks and max. a half an hour of work.

ive just got this exact model, delivery time was GREAT! thats where the good news ends! get nothing but a blank screen! green lights on, but nothing else! even tried with the powerbank connected like you did too! now begins the upheaval of trying to return it! not happy as a christmas present! tried on 3 different tvs too! :(
SOoo, with so many game sticks reviwed in this channel im quite confused... Can you please give a link to the best game stick in the 50$ range. Thanks!
Nice to see you are still finding more of these products to buy and review, how do you find so many of these similar things over and over. China must be flooded with these devices in there markets.
All I want from one of these bedside TV gamebox solutions is some decent Saturn support. I want to win all 3 scenarios plus bonus disk of Shining Force 3 before sleep at night. I have a decent KinHank bedside box I bought a couple years ago that tops out on PSP/Naomi/DC level games, and even them it dosent do so well. No Saturn support at all. Didn't see any Saturn games showcased, does it support Saturn at all? If so how well? This is my pricepoint for an upgrade stick/box for my bedside unit, but Saturn support is a must. If this is no good, does anyone have a recommendation in this price point that DOES play Saturn games? Dosen't have to be full framerate even, just play consistantly without crashes. Thanks!
These are ALL OVER Ebay for under 30 bucks. My favorite Android box for EmuElec is a S905X3 chip running version 4.2, so I may get one of these. 905X3 chip is actually NOT BAD for retro gaming. You can get some decent high-end performance out of that chip.
At this point did find some of them are tweaked so well they run most stuff good now. Beside that most of them S905L or S905X oldschool chips with no cooling what so ever 🤣
What do you search to find them for that price? And do any of them at that price come preloaded with games? Or can you download builds for them that do?
Was happy with game stick lite , but had to get this for 256gb game card and mostly for these new controllers ! You , your to blame for china pkgs at my door ! They don't have all the games i want and how to add some? Well i had to somehow, so i replaced the ones i don't play with those i do by renaming them to already installed ones , thus it sees them and loads them, i fav the replacements to keep track of them ! not ideal , but the dirty trick method i use. Also i noticed if you leave them flat ,heat sink side up or down they build up heat, i position them sidways ,heat dissipates faster that way, i use them at the end of an hdmi cable with a female to female coupler .i don't have them hanging out behind the flat screen.

so, I got new 8bitdo genshin impact chongyun gamepad controller which supports Xinput and DirectInput to play chinese consoles. NOTE: in DirectInput mode press the profile button and holding down to switch between Bluetooth and 2.4GHz receiver (2.4GHz mode vibrates 2 times and Bluetooth mode vibrates 1 time)
How is 53 fps a struggle? It looks and plays fine?! Why does everyone demand 60 fps from a 20 dollar device? Anything over 25 or so is totally playable.
Unluck code is A A A B A .. or Up Up down down left right left right B A if using older emuelec

Do these game sticks sometimes have overheating issues? I remember the one I had a couple of years ago did. It's a nice game list for the price
Definitely an upgrade over the Y6 I used to have.
Better controller, better cooling. TheY6 I had burned out after 45 mins.

Not a bad gamestick, but a aspect ratio setting would be great !
No aspect ratio adjustment and soft filter equals an e-waste dumpster fire 😂

Can you pair any other controllers. . And Bluetooth?
yes if the controller has usb
there is appossibility to use a joystick arcade usb? or another type of controller?
yeah just unplug the dongle and plug in your USB controller of choice. As its a newer version of emuelec should hopefully support whatever you have.
This over rhe y7?
Where can i get one?
What would you recommend for playing N64 games?
Mini PC solutions .. many cheap ones that play N64 native resolution just fine.
