    Something I do is I say things that feel more true to me. So instead of “I am wealthy” it sounds more like this “I am taking the steps towards becoming financially equipped” and then I back it up with small steps I’m taking towards said goal. Or instead of I am fit and healthy it may sound like “ I am choosing more nutritious meals to fuel my body and am becoming healthier each day” feels so much more attainable to me. Your mind will start to look for reasons to prove your right the more you start to really believe it. Loved all these points. Looking forward to using these tools!

    You have to constantly say the affirmations & flip your thoughts.
    Of course saying "I am rich" when you are financially struggling ... going to feel right.
    You're ego is fighting to protect you.
    You have to just perisist right through it. The affirmations are used to form new neuro pathways.
    Eventually they will become your new dominant thoughts.
    This has worked for me, even with anxiety, depression & PTSD.

    I have had more success affirming the negative. For example, when I repeated the statement: I do not have $10,000, within a few weeks $10k showed up unexpectedly. There is no resistance to the statement, but you're still focused on the $10k. I think that's why it worked for me

      janice that is funny, it shouldnt work lol why do you think it worked, when you were affirming did you expect the 10k to manifest, it maybe because you expected it to work, and focused on the object you wanted, this is very interesting, have you tried this to manifest other things, how many times did you affirm each day. did you come up with this idea yourself or learn it someplace else. does the subconscious mind immediately oppose any idea presented to it thus when hearing you dont have it did it interpret that as that you did have it lol what are your thoughts lol

      @@Samanthax1221 it works for a few reasons. The first reason is that you have no resistance to a truthful statement. If you don't have $10k or have not met the love of your life, saying so is truthful. Therefore, you can say it and you don't react negatively to it because it's true.
      The second reason it works is because you get whatever you focus on. So if you think about $10k a lot you're putting energy towards it.
      The third reason is because the universe does not hear negatives or the word 'not.'. So, when you say "I don't have $10k," the universe interprets that as "I have $10k."
      Re: how many times I did the affirmation, I repeated it multiple times a day. I basically made it my mantra. Whenever I thought about it, I said it or repeated the thought in my mind.
      I have always been fascinated by the fact that there are no negatives in the universe. People that say "I don't want to be poor," tend to be poor. So, I figured I would use this universal law to my advantage.

    I´ve tried affirmations for years with little results. Things started to change when I started asking my mind. "how good wouild it be if I were this or that"? Our mind sticks and likes our patterns. They don´t want our patterns to be disturbed. So, if your mind likes chocolate ice cream, don´t force strawberry ice cream onto it. Ask your mind to just give it a try.

      i find thid true. ive been doing manifestations for more than a decade now without even realizing it. one thing i noticed is that those that i believe WILL HAPPEN actually came true more than those i affirmed as being already done or i have...
      so me saying "he will still apologize to me" happened than me saying "he already apologized"... so yeah, if my mind likes vanilla ice cream, i cant force it to like strawberry just coz everyone say they like strawberry...

    Affirmations don't work in a conscious waking state because our subconscious mind automatically rejects the statement as being BS. AfFORmations (or confirmations) work better in a conscious state: we can ask a question or say a statement in a way that allows our conscious brain to provide evidence that the question or statement is true.
    Affirmations *do* work when we're in meditation, once our brain waves start to dip into a more suggestible brain wave state. That's where we can not only access our subconscious operating system, but also start to reprogram that existing subconscious automatic program.
    In short: *Affecting real change on the subconscious/identity/nervous system level *is* absolutely possible.* You *can* change. :)

    Affirmations are amazing you need to take a growth approach in the beginning if you have lots of resistance and regulate nervous system while changing your beliefs but affirmations are amazing and they work you have to word it right

    This is true. I watched Mark haughton on youtube, and he said your questions are your answers.
    His favorite Askformation I am using at the moment is:
    Why do I consistently have more than enough money to live the life that I desire?
    Why does the lottery love making me rich?
    What would my life look like to win hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars in the lottery?
    But don't affirm like a robot. You have to pose and ask like you really want to know the answer

    Yeah, affirmations do work. They only work when you’ve brought your brain waves to theta. Questions might help, but if you’re doing it in the conscious state it will take longer then if you do it during theta. So this approach you are recommending will work but will take longer because it is more difficult to root itself. The questions you’re posing are a type of shadow work. The approach I use is feeling the feelings in the body. A somatic practice. Then i do the positive affirmations at theta. And i do the theta work at night. That’s when it’s easiest to change the unconscious mind.

    The easiest way to program or reprogram any belief is to have no subconscious resistance and since the subconscious dose not recognize what you don't want it only recognizes core message of the thought !
    Example - " I am wealthy " repeating this statement without the matching emotion associated with that actualization will not program because it will not be accepted by the subconscious as true so to jump that huddle you just simply rephrase it by saying " I am not wealthy ! "
    The feeling of the lack of wealth will program the subconscious belief through the lack of resistance with that thought and feeling of not having !
    As counter productive as that sounds one only has to realize that the subconscious dose not recognize no , not , don't , won't , these are all excluding words and the subconscious works only with inclusion !
    So to say you don't want something actually programs to have it !
    So be aware of what you say with feeling about what you don't want !

    Thank you for this video. I've been doing some tapping using 'I'm enough' & although it feels therapeutic, it also seems like it triggers me into actually feeling 'not enough'. There's a lot of tears when I feel this way, so I eventually have resistance to the process. I'm going to try your suggestions this morning. As always Lauren, thank you for sharing.     Thank you for showing this tip as most can't afford for private session, now I understand more, why Guru said you have to ask yourself question why, otherwise your mind doesn't believe is true or your minds knows is false, so is hard time in believing something and this is cause with limited belief with myself.

    What I took from this video: Turn affirmations into possibilty statements and questions. Gently lean your subconscious into a favorable thought pattern of possibilities. “What if I can have everything I want?” “Maybe I will be fine”. “Is it possible to make this desire happen”.
    Target the desire behind the wanted outcome and turn it into wisdom.

    I'm having so much trouble. I literally can't accept myself for who I am (like just writing things out abt my appearance, just feels uncomfortable and weird) almost feels like I'm lying to myself (?) but that's only with external appearance tho. I'm pretty sure i definitely accept myself for who I am mentally (skills, talenfs, knowledge etc).
    How are you guys doing? I feel so lost

      Our limiting beliefs developed with emotion and over time. So, if we repeat affirmations or afformations, lacking emotion,we will struggle. For subconscious to accept something as true it requires emotion as support that something is happening.

    Step One: Turn your statement into a 'what if' question, or a 'why is that...' question.
    'What if I look at my body as a soulmate today?'
    'Why is it that I feel so confident and comfortable in my body today?'
    Step Two: When you desire wealth or fame or beauty, it's not really about that thing. You want the emotional experience, the sense of fulfilment and love and purpose and such.
    'I am wealthy.'
    What is the experience you want from that? Maybe it's a sense of stability and freedom, so you can pursue your dreams? Fun or play?
    Build that into your 'what if...' or 'why is it that...' questions.
    Step Three: Repetition!

    You need to release the negative beliefs in order to change your vibration. Therefore i think its great if you do affirmations and your body responses to you with emotions and thoughts that do not support these affirmations. Quickest way to release unsupporting energies (your thoughts traumas and beliefs) is to say out loud that you’re letting go of anything that does not support the affirmations. This way it does not matter how you attract your new reality whether you claim or ask, you simply shift from the old to the new exactly how you say so. We all decide ourselves what works. We simply give power to what we think works best. Play with it and youll be suprised how every way of attracting would work if u simply believe if will. There’s no backfiring. Yes one can get triggered on their current energy vibration, but if your intention is to grow beyond yourself to higher heights, youll get there anyway. If u ask for clarity in the process, ull understand every level up and every release.

      fitfor you said every way of attracting would work if u simply believe it will. that doesnt make sense, how does someone simply believe something, one would have to affirm that it works over and over again until they came to believe it, one cannot just flip a switch and believe it works. what are your thoughts.

      @@Samanthax1221I agree that this process takes time. However it all starts with intention, the process that comes after it helps you to evolve into that person who does believe it to be true. However I think with manifesting better realities, and using affirmations for this, the key is to let go of all inside of you that is preventing you from believing the truth about the reality (that you wish to be in). It happens over time, healing / letting go of the old takes time.

Do you mean to let go of the limiting beliefs by countering them with affirmations or afformations. Suppose i have a belief that if i am well and thus have overcome my health condition i will have no excuse to not do all of those things in my life that i dont want to do and fear doing and even feel incapable of doing when well, that my disease state prevents me from doing, (i have actually come to the realization that the disease state manifested for this reason as a unconscious avoidance strategy) in your opinion what words should i use to help to release these desires to avoid/ fears of those things i am unconsciously endevouring to avoid. I would appreciate your thoughts.

    I can’t remember who I watched that suggested using the phrase “ it’s normal for me to be” before the intended manifestation. For example - “ it is normal for me to be energetic and choose healthy nutrition” “ It is normal for me to be financially comfortable” etc etc. if that phrasing still evokes too much resistance with your conscious brain, try substituting the words “ increasingly common” instead of the word “normal”

      She said affirmations aren't the way to go...she specifically says the questions to help the subconscious.
      That being said, a combination of writing, speaking and recording/listening would likely be good. Why? Different parts of your brain are used. It can support more that way.

    Thank you! It’s been fun and I feel freedom from all my childhood conditioning now that I am aware of it all plus having the tools that worked for me is extra helpful since I began my healing journey.
    I’m happy to create a new life that’s in alignment to who I am at the core beyond all the crappy conditioning I took on growing up. And designing a life that is filled with joy, love, gratitude, health, happiness, freedom of expression, fun, wealth, and fulfillment.

    i am more beautiful than the last time i said i am more beautiful even if i don't notice it right away. people blame me for seeing the hidden words that force my beauty that even i cannot see. I have the same problems as beautiful people i just let them go first so i can learn from their mistakes we do think alike. i lie to myself constantly when i realize im beautiful in ways i never noticed till i said this line. i would say this phrase three more times in a row because it proves im beautiful. something must have happened to my brain because i just felt more beautiful just then and its getting harder and harder to ignore. whatever just happened i never have to worry about being beautiful again that way other than paying taxes for it being such an over whelming gift.

    Question: what are you thoughts on the Subconscious being reactive rather than rational? I’ve read that the subconscious does not rationalize(it’s designed to react instantaneously in order to keep us alive/alert), which is the premise of a “question”. Posing a question to the subconscious as an ingrained or indoctrinated idea would create an endless loop based on its accepted truth would it not? Is the idea for this technique to created an alternate reaction to then begin the process of ingraining new, positive behaviors? This I could see/understand, but when it takes 33 days to 256 days to “form a habit”, you would be essentially doubling the time needed to reinitialize thinking and belief no? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you. 🙏🏻

    At 54 yrs. old , i think, my "tapes" , self talk , has been playing for sooo long now that tis too late for new messages. I think, probably , the only help for me is a complete reboot and rewiring ....ie.... PSYCHOTROPICS. unfortunately, i dont live i Colorado.

      They can't, but you have to train your subconscious mind to believe your conscious affirmations. So if you say "i have a small nose" out loud consciously you want to believe it, but your subconscious doesn't believe it. You manifest with your subconscious which is why you have to train your subconscious thoughts to think a certain way

      It’s because often when we say the things we desire, we often focus on the absence of said thing rather than the feeling of the desire, which causes us to feel shit, driving us further away from our desire. Our feelings tell us whether our thoughts are something we wish to desire or not, and if we say ‘I have a small nose’ but feel shit, that usually means the actual thoughts that are going in the subconscious are- no you don’t, causing us to feel ‘bad’

    What if when you turn the affirmations into questions it just leads to another self limiting belief like the subconscious response is “I can’t because I think I’m inherently flawed and can’t do anything “ ? In this case how does the questioning help

      If you had no emotion while repeating affirmations or afformations, then nothing will change. The limiting beliefs started with repetition supported by emotion. The emotion following belief is what helps subconscious accept something as true. Also, it is necessary to dig deep because often subconscious beliefs are interconnected. They are not isolated causes of particular problems we have. For example, I recently discovered that my lifetime goal of having true love in my life has been blocked by my own limiting beliefs about it. Turns out that for years, when younger, I was conditioned in such a way to believe that true love doesn't exist, it's not safe to be in a loving relationship, men just use and discard you, etc. And who knows if anything else is that that I haven't recognized? Now, imagine the years of such beliefs and emotions connected to it that I have to clear! So, it can't happen overnight. I think that working on the self limiting beliefs must take priority before trying to instill something totally opposite. For me to suddenly affirmations or tap on true love might be fruitless endeavor because the subconscious resistance is still too strong. But I can affirm on clearing and removing such beliefs by releasing them. You can use muscle testing to talk to the subconscious and see if a belief is still there or not.

    Instead of saying affirmations in the conscious level, can we use affirmation as subliminal messages at the subconscious level? Affirmation may penetrate more easily and effortlessly into our subconscious with the less chance of getting denied.
    What do you think about using subliminal? Any idea???

      Questions open the mind. To just say I am wealthy is a statement. Statements actually close the mind. Questions open the mind.

    Sorry I'm not trying to play devil's advocate here, I genuinely don't understand how turning something into a question makes it easier for your subconscious to accept. Could you please explain this a bit more?
    For example, if I'm trying to generate supportive & loving people into my life and the following affirmation: I am surrounded by love & support is too hard to accept.... how does the question: how am I surrounded by love and support? Feel more believable? To me it's the same.
