- Near Siem Reap, Tonlé Sap is a huge freshwater lake in Cambodia. In this vlog, I take a boat trip through some of its surrounding floating villages, where local Khmer live on stilted houses, and paddle their way around in small boats, mostly catching fish, in what is a truly unique way of life.

Those houses on stilts looked very well built and cared for - not rundown at all. 50 bucks does seem steep for Cambodia but the memories will last you a lifetime. Enjoy Thailand. My most rememberable thing I did in Thailand was taking the overnight train from Bangkok to Chiang Mail. Safe travels to you.

You’re gonna love Thailand! I just went there last month to Bangkok, Ayutthaya and Phuket. It’s gorgeous and the people are amazing. I used Lyft app to get around since the Tuk Tuks try to charge foreigners much more. Especially Caucasians! I’m excited for the videos. I love your channel. (And you’re handsome)

It’s the best time to visit the floating village cuz if u go on dry season there aren’t many thing to do there , for the price if you go there in group it will be cheaper
The cost could have been lower if you could organise a few others and go together. I had a holiday plan cancelled due to health. Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, following quite a lot of your path. Hope I shall have a better luck next time. On the other hand I have seen so much through your vlogs on large screen TV. So the mystery is gone. Thanks for the videos.
