Boone made a mistake not taking that plea. I don't think this will go well for her...she thinks she can convince the jury it was "unintentionall".
I agree. Based on the explained facts, i dont see her getting acquitted and i see her getting many more years.
Honestly said, we all were ' excited' about this case. Whomever kills somebody in a suitcase? I think, it was just a stupid mistake. Being drunk. Sarah didn't expect him, to be dead. Pffff, difficult. Offer 15 years. Instead of 22.5 or more? And knowing, how last 4 years were? To me, this is not a defense. Both toxic to eachother. He begged her, and Sarah didn't care. A game. But do believe, she never expected him being dead, next morning.

'Boonie Toon Sara' is what im calling her. She is a damn hurricane and she will use this for WEEKS as a new delay tactic. I cannot believe she didn't take a deal. She should just represent herself because I cannot imagine a competent attorney telling her to take this all the way, she could have been paroled by now. This atty is now wasting his time. She's not going to care about any of his advice
This hurricane is no joke. Historic at 180mph and 905mb pressure. Cat 5. Be safe.

From a UK resident I don't know you all cope with the horrific Hurricanes and Tornado's you suffer with...I pray those in the area all stay safe 🙏 . As for Boone, she never once mentioned Jorge's abuse at her interrogation and I certainly didn't hear Jorge threatening her life from the suitcase, only pleading with her to help him get out, whilst she enjoyed his suffering, she certainly didn't show any fear of him either. I am so tired of her ongoing shenanigans and can't wait for the trial to commence as I'm sure we all are. Great commentary as always...thanks 😊

She really thinks the battered wife defense will get her cleared of everything, but instead, it'll guarantee a murder conviction when she could've stuck with the accident story. Also, is it possible she went into the interrogation not knowing that manslaughter or involuntary manslaughter existed? Playing dumb and confused would've been way more helpful to her defense than han insisting it was an accident.

Considering, according to all the neighbors AND her ex husband, Sarah was drunk on a nearly daily basis, I find it incredible that she is trying to claim that she was forced to drink to placate Jorge. Also, according to her own statements in the interrogation, she said over and over again what a great day they had, one of the best, he had been doing really well, he really opened up to her, they played games, it was fantastic, nobody touched anyone etc etc. How is she going to spin that now? Shes sunk herself with her arrogance and narcissistic personality imo.
Peter, she’s crazy not taking that plea that plea was sweet… That woman is not wrapped too tight. She’s going to get Life.

If they exclude some of the video interrogation couldn't the jury think that it was left out because of detectives being accused of improper techniques?

@@RcPlayer-tt2vwI bet that's why Owen's was yelling at her in the jail...again....the other day! Bc obviously the state let her know before this. The state offered her 15 back in August and that is also when there was screaming/arguing at the jail when Owen's was there.

What do they do with inmates in jail/prison during a hurricane. Honest question just don’t know?
Nothing. Jails are built of stone and brick. They're fine and they've tons of generators for back up. Hotels are the same and hospitals etc

Given that we now know that she's admitted to aggravated battery (baseball bat being a deadly weapon) during an intentional false imprisonment (with no overt threats or assault from Jorge), HOW is she not being charged with felony murder/first degree?
I don’t think anyone was trying to be mean by pointing out that you interrupt your guests often-at least, not the comments I saw. It was constructive criticism. I’d hope you’d be able to accept the constructive criticism and consider the advice your audience members are giving you. Not to say there are zero people trying to be mean, but the comment that I saw that brought up the interruptions was really nice toward you, but was offering feedback. It’s ultimately up to you to take it or not, but I wouldn’t immediately label all those comments as “mean.”
If you must have EDB on, you should discuss Breonna Taylor. At the very least, Peter could help EDB gain some compassion for others and not to let prejudices show if they exist.

get out of there while you can. All hotels are booked ever since Helene and gas is hard to get. Take your pets, family ,water snacks ,blankets ,flashlights,uploaders. and drive as far away possible. Better sleeping in a car than die in a possible Hurricane 5, 4 or 3. Stay Safe!!!!
