Six of Crows, Illuminae, Wrath of The Dawn, and The Mistborn trilogy are all on my tbr for this year. In my opinion, Across the Universe was okay, but not excellent (this is referring to the first book, since I haven't read the second one yet). But it's worth a try. Btw, I LOVE your new edition of The Night Circus. Especially with the black trim! Beautiful XD

The Across the Universe trilogy is a really quick read. You could read all three of them in less than a week if you wanted to, I bet. The mystery elements really keep you reading, especially in the 2nd and 3rd books. I'm definitely reading Mistborn soon, too. That made it into my video of series' I need to start.
ahh I LOVED Illuminae!! It was one of the first Sci-Fi's I've ever read, and it blew my mind! so many plot twists and great moments! I can't wait to see what you think about it!
the harry potter series (please don't shame me) I actually never had the money to buy the books or audiobooks for the series and just recently paid my library bill so I will be getting to them as soon as I finnish the percy jackson series
I love love The Diviners, A Darker Shade of Magic and Name of the Wind (which I highly highly recommend the audiobook for)and Mistborn. If you're easily scared, be wary of reading The Diviners at night. I also highly recommend the audiobook for Mistborn. The narrator really draws you into the story. You won't regret these books, promise :) I really hope you love them

Please read The All Souls trilogy by Deborah Harkness when you can! I think you'd love it as its a paranormal/romance/fantasy kind of series. YAY! Not many people have read it! Deborah Harkness is a historian as well as an author. It's set in 3 different countries of the world throughout the trilogy as well. The first book is called A Discovery Of Witches.
I really would like to read The Infernal Devices and Miss Peregrines. I am sure there are about 100 other series as well, but I would like to just start with those two because how have I not yet read either?

I think a lot of readers go by the cover/book design sometimes. I know I do. Series on my list to finish this year: Divergent The Selection Lunar Chronicles Dexter Bill Hodges (Stephen King) OK, more of a trilogy but I consider 3+ a series Infernal Devices I've read at least all or most of the first book to all of the above. Some series just need to be finished (Halfway on Dexter).
I really need to read The Throne of Glass series, The Queen of the Tearling, Red Queen, The Gone series, Percy Jackson... and the most shocking of all- The Harry Potter series! I cant believe I havent read any of these- I own at least the first book of all of them and heard such great things about them all but I just havent got round to reading them :/
Ohh I really want to read Queen of the Tearling too! Okay so I'd say, definitely start with Harry Potter because that's a must. Then go to Percy Jackson because its just such a wonderful middle grade (I still need to read the Heroes of Olympus series though!!). Throne of Glass I have mixed feelings about. I LOVED the first two books, the third one was pretty average, but the fourth one I really didn't like. With that series I feel like it's either hit or miss. Either you'll really love it, or it'll piss you off. But I definitely wouldn't say that you shouldn't read it.

The Red Rising trilogy are some of the best books I've ever read. Everyone I introduce to these books love them. The third book is currently the #1 NY TimesBestseller. There's no better time than now to jump on the bandwagon!
Today I bought The name of the wind. But i literally dont understand any of the character. Today I read 1st chapter without skipping anything. I am new reader who dont have read any other book. This is my 1st book in my life. Please help me out, how to know the characters.
I DNFed Across the Universe like 4 or 5 years ago...i found the first 100 pages to be completely boring. so i would be interested in your thoughts! I listened to the Cuckoo's Calling on audiobook and I think it would def be better just to read on paper. It wasn't bad, and clearly JK Rowling is a great writer, but it wasn't my favorite mystery of all time. I do think I'll continue the series bc....JK Rowling.
+Monique Casarez Throne of Glass has its problems but it's by no means garbage. I'd say read it and decide what you think, don't go into it with expectations either way.
Oh no! I honestly don't know much at all about what happens in Across the Universe, so I don't have any expectations. Hopefully I'll enjoy it though! And that's so great to hear!! I'm so looking forward to both of them, fantasy is the greatest!

If you're a fan of lyrical prose, give Across the Universe a chance. Some of the lines in the book are my favorite ever.
