- Today we explored the Kanchanaburi town and Sai Yok area of Kanchanaburi province!
We had a look at the famous railway museum, as well as the Kanchanaburi War Memorial, as well as the Bridge on the River Kwai, before renting a motorbike and heading north to Sai Yok to stay in a Floating Hotel on the River Kwai!
What an amazing experience - come along for this rural Thailand road trip!

How brave of you to visit one of Thailand's hottest provinces, during the hottest period of the year! But imo, probably better than the monsoon season when it can be quite dangerous to travel around on your bike. Just make sure to stay hydrated guys ;)
Had we known it would've been the hottest place in the world I'm not sure we would've come now, maybe when it cools a little since I am burnt to a crisp 😂 😂 hahha no it was lovely, just very very hot haha, good heat for a dip in the waterfall we did! I drank more water than I have in my whole life hahah. Thank you for watching!!

I have come to Kanchanaburi a few times but have never stayed in a floating house. Maybe one day I will stay there, but not in May, because the month is usually very hot weather in Thailand. Anyway, great sharing tour vlog. Stay safe and stay healthy. Enjoy your tour. Greeting from Singapore.

Haha I didn’t feel it no!!! Only when a big boat went past and it got in the wake. I don’t get sea sickness or movement sick ness or anything but Michael said he kinda felt like it was still swaying a little once we got back on land? I was fine though 😂😂😂

Feeling a bit of ourselves for the international air period of Thailand. Because of the summer, the heat is thought to be hot, but the most hot season, there is a mid-year-old season. The next year is a winter. The end of the year is cold. Foreign

The floating House looked so nice but I wonder if there were any mosquitos.
I don’t actually remember having mosquitoes when we slept I actually remember having a really good nights sleep but definitely during the day yes haha!

Couple of questions - 1. Where did you park your scooter when you visited the hotel for overnight stay? 2. The boa that got you to the hotel - did the hotel arrange it for you? or, did you find the pier and then a boatman to take you to the hotel?
p.s. I started following your vlogs when you arrived in India (i'm from W.Bengal) and then I'm getting inputs from your Thai trip for mine.

There’s a car park at the pier - many people parked their cars and bikes there. It felt a little sketchy to leave it there but it’s very secluded and people do it every day.
The floating hotels all have their own boats and operate from a few piers on the river - they will have a timetable with a boat every couple of hours so you just have to make sure you don’t miss the last one and you’re fine! Enjoy Thailand!
This April 30th, I have a Harley trip to Kanchanaburi with Bandidos MC Australia, but my places to go are Sangkhlaburi and Pilok in Kanchanaburi. I'm sure my skin will be burned 🤣🤣🤣

@@josieliftsthings If you have a chance, you must try it once. Sangkhla Buri is a Mon village. In the past, Mon people migrated to Thailand There is a leader of the people as a monk. by building a wooden bridge to cross to Thailand Both Sangkhlaburi and Pilok are very beautiful places in Kanchanaburi. Especially Pilok Thong Pha Phum, you will find a large turquoise freshwater dam surrounded by mountains. and have floating accommodation in the middle of the lake. Like you are in khao sok or Guilin in China😁
