The FLOATHOUSE River Kwai - Our zen spot on the river

This hotel had been on our bucketlist for a few years now. This year we would change that.
And we have to be honest, this hotel did not disappoint us.
From the Phutakien pier to check in and throughout our stay, the staff continuously pampered us !
We are sure that this was not our first and last visit, we will definitely return.
The hotel consists of a long row of floating villas with the reception and restaurant halfway between. The food and cocktails in the restaurant were absolutely of a high standard.
They offer various activities and tours. You can float or kayak on the river, visit the Mon village or the plantation behind the hotel or go out to Hellfire Pass or the Erawan waterfalls.

Would be nice to build a house and live on a river like that. I think I would love it if I would be able to just sit on a chair and take in all the surrounding nature. Thanks for taking us along with you.
