at 36:32 you walked right past the heart container the boss dropped. Make sure to go back and get it before you reset time. Can't miss out of free extra hearts! Every temple boss (in every zelda game) drops a full heart container on death, so always remember you have to pick that up before doing anything else!
31:40 Yes, it is. Of course you have to do the first cycle and reset once you get the Ocarina, but after that it is possible to beat the entire game in one cycle Here is a video of it being done for you to check out after you beat the game th-cam.com/video/O46-cztg9cs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=De_pfU5F_Ny2GGOa
I am pretty sure what you were doing in the boss fight is correct. It's designed so that there are multiple ways to kill him. I'm pretty sure the mod you are using has something to do with it (it makes the boss fight more like the og MM rather than the 3ds version)
Just checked the 3ds fight to refresh my memory. It's true. In the 3ds version, after you drop the deku nut he falls on the ground and a giant eye ball pops out of his head and then you can hit it with the sword. This mod removes the giant eye ball and makes the fight like the one on the N64 version
There is a shooting minigame that has a really good reward at the boat shop near the entrance of the area. Go there and talk to the witch (it has to be done after the swamp is cleared so do it before you reset the cycle, otherwise you will have to beat the boss again to "reclear" the swamp)
So, about Odolwa Basically, the bosses were one of three main changes the 3DS version made to the original game. The boss here works the way it did in the N64 version, allowing you to attack him whatever which way your heart desired. The best way to go about it way to stun him with the arrows then go in with the sword but if you wanted, you could use Deku Link as well. What the 3D version did was give every boss in the game a really goofy ass giant eyeball weak point that you would need to attack. So that strategy you did at first of dropping the deku nuts from above before attacking as Link was what the game forced you to do. That would expose an extremely goofy ass eyeball weak point while Odolwa just looked around clueless having no idea where the hell you are while you slowly fly over him The funny thing about both versions having different variations of the bosses is that I think both of the worst 3D Zelda bosses of all time are in MM, just in different versions. On N64, I would say the boss of the 3rd dungeon was the worst in the series, but then the 3DS version made the boss of the fourth dungeon the worst in the series. The Restoration Mod tries its best to get a sort of middleground between the two For what it’s worth though, the next boss is my favourite in the game, and one of my favourites in the series!

@@Hugonche29 I didn’t even notice that lol, yeah that is beyond important considering how few there are in the game
