Made this cheesecake for my husband’s birthday yesterday, it turned out perfect and delicious . I put a thick layer of lemon curd on top and then topped with berries😋 thanks x
I made this recipe last night, it's okay however if you put two tablespoons of juice it's too sour. Also, I would add more to the biscuits because the crust at the bottom was a bit thin
This looks splendid! Can't wait to try it. Though, I would like to ask for your opinion if adding lemon curd to the top of the cake would make it even better. Cheers! and thanks for the recipe!
I judged it too quickly, it was actually a delight! I made it and it was the prefect consistency! The crust was solid (might be too thin for crust lovers) and the cheesecake layer was not too creamy or too solid, I loved it. The only problem for me was that it had no lemony flavor or smell so I had to make a lemon curd topping.
I followed the recipe fairly closely but without the sour cream. Maybe my oven was too hot but I was horrified when I checked it and the whole top of the filling had a black crust on it. I thought it was a disaster but the crust came away easily and the mix was fine underneath. My oven has a fan assist which I can't turn off, so maybe just too much heat? Also the comment below about using just one tbl spoon of juice. I did that but it could have done with a litle more lemon flavour, so maybe 1.5 tbl spoons. Also my sides were too thick and the base too thin, but I know better now. I added winter berries and it was delicous :)
Are we going to ignore that we see the paper on the bottom as she pushes it to the edge but when she picks up the glass there’s crumbs on the bottom of the pan! 🤣😳😂😂

No matter what recipe I follow, as a rule of thumb i always double the biscuit base recipe, that way I ensure I definitely won’t run out
Great recipe!!! But wouldn't you cut off the leafs from the strawberries before serving them??
