Just ordered a Typhon TRL Tuned version yesterday! 😆 Got a Castle 1515 / Mamba X combo that needs a home… not ideal, but should work well. Now I know what servo to put in it!
Same servo in my 1/5 scale truggy build it's a beast and fast enough on 6 volts but 8.4 is impressive. Mine just came with the blue servo horn. Use the provided horn set screw or it with slip off the servo teeth.
I find in my track car I used the exb center and good fluid made a difference u just have to shim them good and they work and keep up great work and have great day.
Looked at those but I already built the MegaRyft and the biggest differences are the body, color and I like the long wheelbase of the new one. I’m good on tires.
I use these servos in all my crawlers and my 1/8 buggy. You can find them sometimes for 30$ for two of them with horns and they are awesome. Only thing that kills them is water eventually. But what servo doesn’t die after awhile when continuously submerged in water and mud. For the price they are hard to beat
There another one that’s 35 kg for 25$ or 30$ animois is ite name u can find it easy but there great 👍🏻 for the money. Great video. Also where did u get the wheel for the Flysky radio
U could take all the wasted area before the back straight & do a super technical double turn. Always best to utilize ALL of the wasted track area as possible 🤷
I turned my Typhon into a speed run car With the limitless front end and the widened arms or the widened hubs Which means it's hardly ever been driven . you make me want to change it back and to change it back into a 4 wheel drive
whats the best esc/motor combo for the xmaxx? im not looking for the most power you can get, just to run it a lil bit more than the stock esc/motor combo. my motor gave out today after bashing in the heat today. any suggestions?
I'd like to see someone review the AGF servos through their Amazon store. They make some of the best servos on the market now and I haven't seen anyone review them.
@@ExocagedRC well they've always had the 35 kg servo and then they come out with one that still says 35 kg it just says pro right behind it and yes it's stronger faster and the things amazing really but you got to make sure it's the one that says pro on top I got it in my kraton XL and it's amazing
@@ExocagedRC is yours a 25 kg pro or if so they obviously made a pro version of the 25 kg too but the 35 kg pro if that's not it I don't know if they got a 25 and 35 the one they sent me was the 35 kg and it just like the 35 already had except for it says pro on it and it's amazing if you're says 25 on it then they actually make a 25 pro and a 35 pro

I have the 20kg in my Typhon 3s and it works just fine
I love my cheap ebay servo, I'm running the 40kg version on my udr and it runs great. Now all I need is the vitavon servo hornan some other bits.

I reckon with those track conditions and both hands on the transmitter you could manage into the low 16's !

That's the perfect gas/Nitro especially, throttle servo!!! Gotta have a stupid responsive servo on throttle! 👍
I agree but I just don’t want a technical track that has to be worked through. The vast majority of us aren’t racers so we want a fast and fun track.
