Absolutely that’s my old stomping ground! I’m 38 and number one Chinese and Dunkin have been in that plaza my entire life. I remember when that staples was a rickels then a toy store. That nail spot used to be a radio shack. That Sally’s beauty supply has also been there forever! I used to live around the corner in east orange and walked/biked to that plaza for everything. That staples is where I got my cds when we first started burning music😂 lastly that Wendy’s used to be a Roy Roger’s 😢 Number One used to have the best Chinese food for miles but every time they renovate the food changes its never been nasty but it’s never been the same! If you didn’t grow up eating there the food now is probably delicious because they always make fresh quality food !

House special fried rice with anything taste great. This is the best Chinese around if you compare to other restaurants

I use to order from here years ago. One day something told me to check the review and somebody post a bug 🐛 inside there food, this was 2023 or 2022 idk but go to the reviews. I havent eatten from then since then, and more that 1 person found something in they food. Just saying. Raw food, old food, bugs and all becareful @matt dv.

Bloomfield plaza in Bloomfield new jersey. The number one kitchen Chinese food is crappie it was good back in the day when they had the dining room since they revamped the place the food was crappie I ate pork fried rice and it tasted like battery acid

Hey Matt hope you have a blessed day I used to live 5 minutes from the plaza and I remember the no.1 Chinese used to have a buffet on the other side of the takeout they were generous portions on buffet end .I'm glad they diversified there staff next time you go there try the homemade iced tea you'll see what I mean about different enjoy your day see you on the next one✌️
Before 2019 before the virus broke out they used to have a really Great buffet. Too bad they left all the boxes still there. Honestly the place use to serve better food. The mustard looked good but the plates look kind of small. Yes that use to be Payless shoes now occupied by the furniture place.

Don't like broccoli. Has a nasty after taste. Shrimp and broccoli, with a very bad ratio of shrimp to broccoli. Its all drowning in some overly sweet sauce. Thats not good, to me.
That’s up the street from me. I’ve always known it as Bloomfield Plaza. Used to eat from there but not as good as it used to be. They closed down around the time of the pandemic then reopened. Maybe will retry them again soon.

Hello Matt, I limit my Chinese Food take out budget. Since that plague of 2019 I learned from TH-cam to cook it at home. Smile The supermarkets has an Asian section. Spices. It's quicker to prepare than Soul Food 👍. Enjoy your week outside Friend.☮️💟

Before the covid the spot where the boxes are was opened for eating now they downsized the dining room .that lady was right when she said that she didn't like the place.you are better off going to hunan house on valley road in Montclair where Acme market is Acme is 510 valley road hunan house is right there

Chinese is too damn expensive where Im at in upstate. Easily spend 60 bucks on a few dishes. I just make my own now. Costs 1/3rd as much and makes twice as much

As a teenager back in the 70's, the first Dunkin' Donuts (DD) I went to had an on-site baker, so all of the donuts and pastries were super fresh if you got there at a certain time. Nowadays, there are no bakers on any of the DD premises that I've been too. My very first DD spoiled me for what's offered now. However, their coffee, frozen chocolate, and hash browns are really good.
