I won't lie.... I LOVE this little hole in the well fish spot... Whiting fried hard with the fries well done... And they got some of the best white sauces for the fish... I'm so Newark my man

Had breakfast there this week, and will be definitely going back there often. They have this oatmeal bowl, that is the bomb. Will definitely check out this fish place. I remember this spot from 2004 when I worked in Newark. Fish sammich was poppin back then!!
I eat here all the time. The portions got smaller and the prices got 😊 higher. The fish is good though. Great video.

I used to go in that place a lot.. They food is really good
You need to try a "Sabich", that is an actual Israeli sandwich, a very elaborate sandwich with at least 3 kinds of sauces: A hot sauce, a garlic sauce and a green mango sauce. And comprised with a multitude of other ingredients, among which at least 2 kinds of salades, deepfried skinless thin eggpant slices, a chopped up boiled egg and more.
Sound delicious. Where are these Sabiches?
Best fish sammich is from the truck across from UMDNJ on Bergen. Can't beat it

I have walked by this place and it looked sketchy so I never thought to go in. I used to get a whiting sandwich from some place on Halsey years ago but I don’t know if it even exists, things have been gentrified more in some spots while other streets they haven’t yet gotten to.

@@dawnlee866 I agree but they do need to clean up their places we deserve better and should demand it. I don’t want to eat at someone’s house with a nasty kitchen so why would I buy prepared food from a nasty shop.
