    Thank you Meca for doing these videos both in Spanish and English. I always learn a lot from you.
    Some ques:
    1. I assume you used a welting foot in your machine for the piping?
    2. A lot of machines can't use T270 thread in both the top and bottom of the machine. Did you? I assume your machine was a Consew 111wx type machine? Don't they typically have a size limit to T138 or so?

    • @mecaupholsterytips
      @mecaupholsterytips  5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Yes I am using a 1/8 welting foot.
      I am using a t 270 only on top on the bottom I am using a B92. Cónswe 111 have limited. My machines consew 226. And I can sew with this thread without any problem. some time with my bobbing cases is to old and Star breaking thread a lot does mean I has to adjust it or replace it

    Very nice. I have a Consew 226. I didn't know it would even do T270 thread. What size bottom thread do you use when you use T270 on the top? I usually sew with #92 thread and #69 in the bobbin. I mostly do tactical gear, and that is heavy enough thread for that. But I do want to do some upholstery at some point, so I am trying to learn that. You have been a big help. Please let me know about the thread. Thanks.

    thanks for the english version !!
    When you are doing the top stitch and pulling away from the needle.... do you also pull left & right? or do you let the presser foot just smash down the vinyl? i feel like sometimes i pull left and right too much while pulling away from the needle and i end up seeing a tiny bit of the blind stitch...usually only on top stitching with no pipe or on french seams.

    • @mecaupholsterytips
      @mecaupholsterytips  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watch this video. Yes I pulled but pieces away from the needle and when I do a top Stitch I do the same thing. when you do a top Stitch of French seams you are seeing the blind Stitch thread. I am pretty sure if it that is happen to you you have to adjust the tension from the top a maybe maybe the tension from the bobbin.
