I find Brian to be such a tortured artist. I remember he said once that to make good music you didn't necessarily need to feel pain, but you had to know it. I hope one day he's free of his pain as he's done so much in healing many of ours.

cool, never saw this! not a fan of the greasy hair look though. its kind of funny to imagine him just standing in front of his bathroom mirror hair pomade cans laying around doing his hair in the morning.
it's definitely the look he had circa 1995. And he seems so much more alive here than he has in any interviews in recent years. The meds they have him on now may block out the darkness, but they also seem to shut out the light.
I love this interview Brian is so energized and has a lot of great things to say. I love him

Thanks for this one too! You’re adding some of the best Brian videos I’ve seen. Love them! Keep it up, please! Thanks!
The greatest ever Thank You Brian Wilson ❤️
I think there is definitely some truth to the idea Brian was too "scared" by his own music to finish smile. He was paranoid about writing Pet Sounds!
Thank the lord no burglars ran out and shot Brian and Tony Asher while they were writing.
Many thanks for sharing this
If SMiLE is a departure, Smiley Smile is its unwanted step sibling that really soothes the mind and way out of left field.
