    Starving alive with all the food accessible to you! Imagine being in a dessert with a see through refrigerator with all the foods and drinks you desire but you can’t have it! You can’t get through the glass! Then you get so weak you stop fighting to get it 🥺

    Thank you. Ladies keep going l had this with 2 pregnancies it’s hard mines was really bad had to stay in a dark room alone, every single smell triggered me to be sick. Felt like I was going to die. I made it to the end and both times my babies were healthy like I weren’t just fighting for my life lol

    Suffering with HG now. 2 days from 14 weeks & im praying for relief in this next trimester. Just thinking bout how much farther I have to go gets depressing at times.

    Just left the hospital at 7 weeks and feeling in shock from the things I’ve just gone through (mostly) alone. My new mantra: I’m doing this 💜💪

    Thank you for sharing your story, Im dealing with the same thing Im now 10 weeks and its very hard. Its seems like the hospital can only give you fluids and anti nausea meds and dealing with this during the pandemic doesn’t make it easier.

      it is so difficult, theres just no choice but to take each day as it comes, rest and find the anti-sickness med combo that works for you. its really encouraging seeing other women reach the end of their pregnancy and say how the HG goes as soon as placenta is out. there is hope it wont last forever just make sure to rest and dont feel bad about doing so!x

    As soon as I was 6wks I couldn’t even keep my saliva down! I was admitted in to hospital 7times with my first baby, on drips and everything! It lasted the WHOLE of my pregnancy even when I was giving birth I was being sick, I gave birth to a tiny healthy baby, then was sick one last time and like magic it was gone???

      I am incapable of swallowing my saliva too. If I do I end up throwing up the actual saliva and I feel this is a slow death. I am 12 weeks.

    HG was the most traumatic experience of my life. I had it two times it was insane. It stopped at 22 weeks but there are certain scents that still trigger me after years

      I feel better around 17-18 weeks, I can not imagine these of you who go through that the entire pregnancy.

    Went through HG with both of my kids it starts for me almost immediately after my body start to produce hcg I spent numerous hours and days in the hospital on different occasions from being sick it was so bad that I had to have continuous nausea meds running through my body via iv fluids up into about 7 months it really takes a toll on your body and it sucks definitely seeing a lot of women who have such easy pregnancies

    • @mentalhealthheadache
      @mentalhealthheadache  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It really does take a huge toll, hopefully that's recognised one day because literally the most difficult thing to experience

    I have just come back home from being admitted to hospital last night and honestly I can relate to your whole experience. I’m 12 weeks and this whole pregnancy has just been sickness & vomiting everyday. I was also admitted to the same hospital Salford Royal!!!!

    Currently 4 months and I completely understand. Had HG since week 4. It’s awful, I’m praying it at least calms down some, I know I probably will have to deal with it the whole time. My medicine literally only prevents me from throwing up (sometimes, when it’s a really good few hours) and does nothing at all for the nausea.

      its so tough but i can finally say it is so so worth it. stick in there you’re strong & it will come to an end!

      It’s not easy. I had to keep thinking about the prize at the end of this trial. Never again. I dropped outta school and couldn’t work anymore

    We all know how irritating the advice from well meaning people who have had regular morning sickness is, "try ginger, crackers, peppermint tea." Those do not work when your condition is this severe. That said, does any HG sufferers here have any food to suggest that you have been able to keep down? So far these from medical lists online have worked for me. Im still very hungry but it's better than nothing: orange sherbet push pops, applesauce, and jello. Anyone have anything else i can try? I am so hungry and desperate

      @marilynm8481 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rice and beans with corn tortillas helped me for a bit, but honestly the things I could keep down would change every couple days and I'd have to find something else I could eat. Chewing gum helps with the saliva and feelings of nausea. Good luck to you. 💜

      Fruit and PB and J sandwiches help me and seltzer water. Plain water makes me nauseous

    Do you get to go hospital to have fluids if you’re dehydrated and feel nauseous only?

    • @mentalhealthheadache
      @mentalhealthheadache  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      i’d only be admitted if i couldn’t keep anything down at all, a lot of women struggle to get admission
