Can you tell me how you tested the bad motor you said smoked? Did you just put 12v to it after disassembling the gate arm, or could you put the power wires in the control panel directly to the battery?? Thanks,
They have had their day. My fix worked and it’s been working strong for three years now. In the Pacific Northwest, all I have to worry about is making sure the batteries stay charged. Once this arm fails completely I will upgrade so that I can have an app to control opening and closing. Sorry you’ve had failure after failure.

Hi! Yes, I tested the motor via 12v after removing it from the arm. It was dead. Testing it directly ruled out any circuit board failure.

I purchased the motor on Amazon. Search using the ASIN# B01JDZD5GI. Models this motor supports: FM350, MM350, FM352, MM352
