This is such an amazing performance! I love how the baroque guitar sneaks on stage, and then everyone else! The improvisation at the beginning! Each movement played so beautifully! This is so amazing! 🤩 That third movement *chef's kiss* 👨🍳👌
This is so intense. This is definitely what Vivaldi would have intended.
Stupendous!!! Sehr gut!!
Vivaldi.... Just inmortal
What ecstatic music! Especially this interpretation! And that cellist! I'm madly in love … with his playing! ;-) I just started studying cello, and would love to play this third movement before I die. In fact, I will start practicing the G minor scale today, while I'm still feeling so inspired. When I heard this piece for the first time a few days ago (while enjoying coffee and cannoli), I just about went into an ecstatic seizure. (Ok, I exaggerate a bit.) This is the way Vivaldi should be played, with passion!
a fantastic group of musicians!!!
יצירה כל כך ויואלדית 🙏🎶🙏
Celestial
Viva Vivaldi!
Bravo!
Stupenda esecuzione!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fantastica!!!!!!!!
BRAVO!!!
Brilliant, rich and so,so much talent
The presentation, intensity, excitement and enjoyment are especially evident in the first 5:25 of this magically entrancing and vibrant interpretation. A superb presentation of a wonderful piece of music
🌸🌈🌻🎶🎵🎼🎻🎹 Infinitas gracias. Sat Naam.

Toll
I wish to see a performance of them😜
Has anybody else ever noticed that in the first movement of RV 157, the ground is ten beats long?
I didn't realize that since it fit so perfectly
ten sure is an odd number
Super Intro in the bigining
Very interesting and fresh interpretation. This is the beauty of baroque. One can interpret a number of ways, because the composer did not exact dictatorial control over the music like they did in the Romantic era, and the melodies are not brutally simplistic like they were in the Neo-Classical period (Master Beethoven excepted).
I have to say, that Hugo de Rodas puts so much emotion into his playing. I don't like the switching back and forth between the default screen and mini screen.
2:45 the harpsichord is like "Gurl."
Wonderful! BRAVO!!! They are all such good musicians. I'm afraid I don't now what that 'guitar' like instrument is called. Anyone know? Outstanding.
Penny Smith It's a baroque guitar.
Thank you for that. Now I know. x
No, it's a vihuela.
I think 'President Aria' is right. According to Wikipedia the vihuela has 6 courses (of double strings), and fell into disuse toward the end of the 16th century. Its 17th century successor was the baroque guitar, with five courses (of which the top string may be a single). This matches the instrument played here, whose details are clearly visible. Wikipedia's account is illustrated with a lovely portrait of Vermeer's called 'The Guitar Player', contemporary with Vivaldi's compositions.
👌
Vis Vitalis ❤️☀️
Que piração! hueheue
Cellist plays fragment of Bach's solo suite pizzicato :)
The Improvisation is based off of Bach's Menuet II from his Cello Suite no. 1.
It's become ussual that we cant take crystal art, we need show. Like meal, we cant eat just food, we want take a meal with a sauce...
so deep
