I got to meet and hanged out with Ari at the RevZilla Get On Adv Fest in Mojave desert earlier this year. He's such a great person and great ambassador of the sport. Quality human being right there! So happy to see him raced that Yoshimura R7.
Having not raced all season in MotoA (whilst everyone else is up to speed) on a completely new package, to finish P12 at Laguna is SUPER impressive! Helluva job Ari & Team💪
Hope Yamaha cranks out the YZF-R9 in the coming years. I think that triple would be the bees' knees. Yes it's probably got more power than necessary for racing in a manner that maxes out corner speed and other riding techniques, but I don't think it's excessive power in a way that a lot of 750+cc fours would have.
Great to see the team and bike in person when I attended the race. Great looking R7. Plan on buying the new Yamaha XSR 900. Beautiful and comfortable bike. ❤️

Haven’t heard a gp rider so excited for racing in a long time. Maybe the future of racing is smaller classes. Away from the huge budgets.

Against professonal racers, he finished in the points of a large grid. For minimal testing with no familarity with bike, he did really well.
