- GREEN CARD MARRIAGE PETITION DENIED? Today is not the day to get a denial on your Green Card petition! But if it does happen to you, what happens next depends on whether the Government suspected FRAUD in your petition. For some people, they will either get a Notice to Appear in Immigration Court (if they are inside the U.S. and don't have a lawful presence here). Others can simply re-petition and "get through."

Hello there! We have our i485 case denied because we haven't submitted all the documentation requested. We're so overwhelmed that we decided to leave the States and start a new life here in Spain.
For my surprise yesterday we received a letter of an appointment related to our i130 case. By any chance, Do you know what that means? Do we have to go back to the States for this appointment? Thanks for your help!

I had a question: I was married since November 2017 and I never had the greencard, my last interview last Monday apr 26, was the one where I were told my wife withdraw the paper work, so the immigration said they are not giving me any greencard and my wife has filed for divorce, so what can I do to stay in the country
Find an attorney you can apply for the Greencard even after divorce if you do this in the before the 2 years after divorce.
hey hun ive got a problem my husband got his a medical and fingerprints and had his interview and they denied him due to lack of info i sent the same I864 and I 864A three times and i do not work because i homeschool our kids so the guy that helped us fill out the papers gave all his info what are we doing wrong and hes been in mexico for 3 months now i need him back home soon please help and god bless

I read that if the I-485 is denied the I-864 affidavit of support is denied. Is this True the I-864 is null and void?

My husband got denied because they don't believe we had a bona fide marriage. We sent proof of the information the marriage certificate pictures I've been there to his country two times. We have FaceTime and chat records but they still say it was not legit. I don't know how else to prove this and what are my options

@@catherinebarroso3516 Well, from what I gather from a lawyer and from this video is that They want to see things that show that you are building a future together. Like life insurance, which I had. I didn't think anything of it, shared accounts, joint taxes. Which we do not have because we live apart from each other and we can't share the same account right now. I don't know if it's an issue or not, but I did not change my last name yet. I figured if I did it's just going to be complicate documentation. Who knows if that played a factor or not? I can only guess. They simply said, thank you for applying. I don't see a bona fide good faith marriage. You may go. No explanation. Other than that. no Direction. No, denial letter. Nothing. It is a scary thing to think ur life hangs in the balance of these subjective judgments. Btw u can do taxes if u get an itin tax number. U fill out a form.
