    I'm Mental Health worker in Wrexham. The ending of this industry in the town has helped create the thriving industry, I now work in. Sobering thought.

    My Dad worked there. He said the camaraderie was like nowhere else, and he missed the place when it went.
    He despises Thatcher for her part in its closure.

    My dad worked here. It was a shame it closed but at least at the time the industrial estate was thriving etc, and these blokes didnt have a load of foreign labour to compete with either. Things are much worse now.

    My late Dad Ron Lovell worked here, I remember him taking me with him on a few occasions when I was little to pick up his wages with him from the office

    When you take away the thing that made the people and made the community then you break it. This has been achieved. Pottery, Coal, Steel, it has all been achieved.

    Father in law worked at Ebbw Vale. Talks about it all the time. He was offered something in SA but chose not to.
