Most high streets are like this unfortunately with the competition from out of town shopping.

It’s actually a nice town, a bit rough but a strong community.

Moved there with my family in 1965, and it was a dull and boring place then, and it has gone down hill over since. I left the town for good in 1983 and have never looked back. Dreadful place and the people there are so narrow minded to the extreme.
