    I'm due for another of these jobs soon. I changed the ones in my 1969 GP 200 back when I lived in Poland, in the luggage storage cage in our underground parking area, having dropped the engine down to the floor under the scooter and working sat on me ass. I used my MB engine mount tool, a heat gun and installed genuine 2 hole SIL mounts (wish they were still available). On my current running scooter the right side mount is beginning to sag so new mounts soon. Good tips in your video, gonna watch it again before doing it. Sorry for the long winded post I've had two pots of coffee already! hahahaha!

    Nice one, new RT225 kit and my casing was bulloxed, had to buy a UNI one and UNI silent blocks so this is good timing to watch.

    That’s a big that you got in your hand 😊 must be from Doms tool 🔨 box, excellent video. Long range fuel tanks, what are the best to fit that don’t split on the welds or spots weld!! is aluminium better than steel?

    mate have you fitted corsa mounts , i had to make a new tool as they are bigger . where the rubber is and the origenal tool wont go over to remove them ....... yes pulled them out cos way too hard
    rattles the bike to bits ...ended up with one corsa fast road on the right and a bgm on the left seemed to work fine . stiffer but less vibration . good vid 👍👍

    • @Shedtune_Russ
      @Shedtune_Russ  ปีที่แล้ว

      They are std UNI mounts and not corsa mounts. I have a set of corsa mounts in front of me and you are correct they would be too hard for the road. These have been supplied by the customer and will be perfect for what they want.

      YES MATE those are fine . i was just asking if you had fitted corsa mounts , for the road i much prefare confort .@@Shedtune_Russ

      by the way why is everyone doing 1/8 mile and not 1/4 ???

    • @Shedtune_Russ
      @Shedtune_Russ  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheSteelweasel it’s a long story but basically, most tracks have been sold or shut down. Only a few 1/4 miles ones still running so it’s either the 1/8th at the mo or wait till Santa Pod for the 1/4. I prefer the 1/4 tbh. The Lambretta’s can keep up with the small frame Vespas then.

    Shouldn’t you mention left and right hand side differential rubber hardness and that some silent blocks are ‘handed’ du to extra load on kickstart side?

      @sidneybolt1099 nope, it’s a basic guide rather than a full on in depth tutorial. Most people don’t listen when u offer advice lol 😂 they don’t even watch all the video
