    A lot of people are confused about what bond builders actually are. They are NOT protein treatments and many of them do not contain protein. So many people are using bond builders on their own, and wondering why their hair is so brittle. It’s best to do protein treatments as well as bonding treatments because they’re completely different. Bond builders are for damage such as color and heat, and protein treatments are for brittle hair and breakage. Just something to look into! 🥰

      All the ingredients in a bond builder and protein treatment are in a lot of existing conditioners. People just want to waste their money.

      @@uberhaute_naturalz84 actually, I disagree. Products like k18 and olaplex are patented and have ingredients that no other product contains. Hair products that contain protein are interchangeable, but I still believe that it’s beneficial to have at least one protein treatment every few months in your regimen. I do agree though that people are wasting their money on bond repair products if they don’t have heat or color damage

      @@gigibeah524 I asked a seasoned Cosmetics Chemist Perry Romanowski (you can pique his brain at Chemists Corner and Beauty Brain on both IG and their websites) and he has been skeptical about the said "patent" that fuels the Olaplex and K18 because the ingredients in these products are the usual culprits however, the experience and the expertise of the in-house Chemist will determine how these ingredients are formulated to make the luxurious products that everybody has been raving about.

      @@gigibeah524 @gigibeah524 *I wrote something earlier as regards patents and claims by these companies and what seasoned Cosmetics Chemists like Perry Romanowski said about them. You can search his name against these companies*
      I agree with people wasting their money on bond treatments if they are naturals but even if they have heat damage and split ends the only remedy according to truthful trichologists and dermatologists is to cut it off.
      I also agree with the protein/moisture balance to be included in ones regimen according to need. Someone like me who lives in a highly hot and humid industrial city and is always exposed to sunlight needs it a lot because these elements can chip away the Keratin that forms my hair.

    Girl i loveeeee the unbrush for a pain free rough detangle and the tangle teaser for my wet hair detailed detangle….i love both brushes. I have mid back length coily hair…just saying.

      The point of this video is not to bash the unbrush but to say find what works and stick to it. so if 3 more brushes launch by the end of the year claiming to be even better than the unbrush, you probably don't need to buy them because the unbrush already works for you.

      What hair type do you have? How long is it? I’ve been looking at the air straight but wasn’t sure if I should get that over the air wrap. How long does it take to do your hair with the airstrait?

    • @brittanywarner25
      @brittanywarner25 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ladidodi8912 I have the airstrait with type 4 hair. I love love love it as well! I'm still experimenting but it takes me roughly 40 minutes to style my hair with it. I take small sections out of habit because of my texture, but even when I take bigger sections, the results are still great. For type four hair, the speed that you go down the hair will determine the outcome. I notice better results when I go pretty fast rather than extra slow. When you go too slow, your hair dries from the strong air and if your hair dries in a curly state, it will want to remain curly. I also have the air wrap but haven't been able to use it like I want to because my hair is too short to do the curls that I prefer. I enjoy the brush heads for the air wrap too. I wear my hair blown out pretty much 100% of the time
