1. Will you be purchasing and if so what are you most excited to try?
2. Do you think that products for "All Hair Types" truly work?
3. What are some of your favorite moisture rich products?
I plan on reviewing the rice and rose protein treatment on another day since I got more than enough protein on this washday.
Hope you all have a beautiful week!
I’m good on all celebrity hair products.
Same, but Tabitha Brown & Taraji P Henson lines got it downnnnnnn >>>
I am not spending $44 on a light oil alone? PLEASE!
Taraji’s line is awesome!
@@MsJrzyHer brand works well and is more reasonably priced.
@@vgueafricaReally!!? I have tried so much that hadn’t really worked I’ve been scared to try these.
Another thing is Beyonce has money and people to maintain her hair. If you assume it's just her products that gives her this hair then we should believe all those shampoo ads that show soft silky hair
Also! Please don't forget to mention that genetics plays a very huge role in all things, hair skin nails, etc.
True. Also, wearing a wig and weaves thru out her entire career helped keep her hair safe from manipulation and elements.
@@prettylittleliar7311this is true, however, I know someone that comes from a family whereas all of the women have very short hair(not by choice) but hers is down to her butt. Know why, you never see her hair, it’s always under a wig. She takes the wig off, wash it, braid it back and back under the wig it goes.
@deejai1173 🥰
Right ...and I'm sorry but I won't support no more of my money with these celebrities with all is going on now
Excellent review!
I knew Cecred wouldn’t be specific for natural hair. The price is ridiculous for the product size.
Thank you!
So basically buy the first 3 products or pay my light bill🤔 absolutely not going to entertain this way too expensive hair care line.
That's a myth...most beautician use high quality products...not Mielle or Shea Moisture...
Your face is telling me everything I need to know. Thank you
😅
😩😩😩😆😆😆😆
Lml my exact thoughts! 😂😂😂👌🏾
exactly
So basically it’s not for 4c hair. Thank you soo much for being honest!
thats crazy
It is but I'm happy tall don't think so because now y'all can stick to your shea butter routine and leave this lady alone...
@@alienwithclout I have 4c hair and it works great for me. It’s crazy that this creator would like such a bold faced lie
@@CC-rm9uq thats YOUR EXPERIENCE
@@CC-rm9uqhow is HER experience a lie? Girl bye. Get a grip lol.
You can’t be confused. You’re just supposed to love it because it’s from Beyoncé. You aren’t supposed to have any thoughts. Just go along.
That’s sarcasm of course.😵💫
Thank you for saying that. Respect
Lol
That part lol
Omg yes I used to think Taylor had a cult but Beyonce's cult is poo poo brained. It's not hating if you don't like it.
I love your comment!
Your hair is stunning, and so is your brain. Thank you for saving me money. 💰🤑
Great review. I wont try Cecred. Beyonce doesnt need my money ...lol and I also found products that have been working for me for sometime now so Im sticking to them.
That makes complete sense, I don't normally buy a lot of new products but I was really interested in some of the strong claims. I'll be sticking to my own stuff thought. Thanks for watching!
Same...There is NO WAY I'm paying close to $50 for 8 & 10 oz of ANY hair product unless It's VISUALLY growing my hair with EVERY USE
Thank you. And she surely don’t buy nothing from me so we both see eye to eye 😂😂
Well who needs you money? White company's who feed you chemicals and do nothing to your community.
My same sentiment, I've been using great products and it as been working for my hair
Some fall all over themselves to give celebrities more money for mediocre outcomes. Thank you for telling it how it is and saving the rest of us from wasting our money.
This
I usually don't comment but this one of the best reviews I have ever seen; easy to follow what you are explaining.
Wow, thank you!
I completely agree!!! Thanks sis!❤
@@preciousfro very honest review!
Those prices are ridiculous. Hard pass for me
I promise I was looking for a real honest comment because being someone that has always had long, thick 4c hair we cant use a lot of common products that most people flock to. It either dries our hair or doesn't hydrate as needed.
I found the deep conditioner and lotion to be very moisturizing but neither gave me anything that I don’t get from other products.

People keep talking about olaplex, but olaplex is actually cheaper than cecred.
Say's alot , because Olaplex is expensive!
@@sasha69Xurgelash Exactly. Olaplex is $30 each for the shampoo and condition at 8.5 ounces. They sometimes sell it discounted at $42 for the set. Always has sales. And they have a trial size with everything included for $41-55. Beyoncé’s sells the shampoo and conditioner for $38 each. Shampoo is only 8 oz deep conditioner is 10oz. She sells the value pack of shampoos and conditioner only for $42. Olaplex oil is $30 and cecred is $42.
Olaplex value pack ranges from $120-$180 depending on your hair needs. Cecred’s value pack in $265
I think people think olaplex is more expensive because they also sell salon size products which cost more because it’s much bigger.
But either way it’s still expensive but they have a bigger range of products, award winning, and they are actually cheaper.
and unike Cecred, Olaplex treats my natural hair beautifully and grows it long.
@@BiancaLandry-mn1jpI thought this line wasn’t for AA hair. WOW
I see a lot of natural girlies swear by it. I haven't tried it yet.@@shoncere
Great honest review. You bring up a great point, making a haircare line to appease a variety of people means that it will not cater to some hair types. I’m a 4c girl so this sounds like it’s a no for me (maybe just the protein mask).
Yes I was really hoping it would be similar to Fenty Beauty where every hair type had their own hairline but maybe in the future! Thanks for sharing!
Great review
@@preciousfro Fenty Beauty has a haircare line?
@@paigewhitfield3624no but their foundation, mascara, even the lip gloss and blush has something for each different skin tone. Not a one size fits all approach
@@paigewhitfield3624 Fenty beauty is coming out with a haircare brand soon and this content creator was paid by PR for Fenty which is why she gave Cecred (Beyoncés brand) such a passive negative review 😂
This old lady is just now clued in that Beyonce has a hair care line. These products are way out of my budget! I'm a new devotee to Carol's Daughter products, which are much more budget friendly, at least for me. Great review!
Thanks for sharing!
Nice review! I thought the same when I saw the reviews on Cecred . It did really well on those who straighten, colored or permed their hair. The ones who had a finer texture or looser curl it worked well on to .
Definitely, I think if I were to use all of these products frequently it would dry out my hair over time!
I love these products. After the shampoo and conditioner I use my melanin leave in, detangle, add oil then style and I use the cecred lotion in place of styling gel. A little goes a long way. It has a light hold and it leaves my hair soft and doesn’t flake if you are not heavy handed. When my hair is dry I use a little more to spot treat my stubborn flyaways in the front. I never do wash and goes because my hair gets too dry and tangled. I do twists, plaits or a loose smooth updo. My hair loves the Cecred line. My protein overload was gone after the first wash.
Yeah, I agree. I have straightened hair, and I love the oil. A little goes such a long way for me. I love the clarifying and conditioning shampoos. I use the deep conditioner. It makes my hair super soft.
People with perms use and do all of this? Sign me up for a deep condition and a steam but nope to all the extra steps. I get tired watched Cedred videos.
@@KaiNicoleDwyeryou don’t do all the steps every was day. the protein treatments are meant to be done every 4-6 weeks.
I haven't seen anyone like the deep conditioner. Most popular product was the hydrating shampoo.

Overly priced products for her quote on quote supporters. Yes most can afford it but in general the price is not favorable. Fancy bottles, mediocre quality and over priced per bottle. No thank you.
Thank you ma'am for your honest review.

This was an amazing review! I’ve been watching some and wasn’t sold. I think I will try the shampoo’s and the conditioner you liked. I’m glad that you broke it down the way you did. I hope her team pays attention to your review because they could come up with amazing ideas for future launches.
Thank you so much for this review. I'm glad to finally see someone with 4c and not soft mixed race curls and the like reviewing this. Beyonce certainly could have made her products more affordable for accessibility as well.

Nice review!! Have you done a review for Taraji’s line? I have 4C very thick hair and my hair was absolutely beautiful after my wash routine. I love it!
Which products do you use fron her line?
@@htownqueen663 The make it rain hydrating conditioner, ride or die leave in conditioner, honey fresh shampoo. It’s soooo good and smells AMAZING!
The only Tarji I've tried is the clarifying shampoo in the turquoise bottle. I use it once a month sometimes twice a month if I need it.
I have curly 4b hair I follow up with Aussie Moisturizing shampoo and Aussie 3 min miracle moisturizing conditioner. Or I'll follow up with Carol's Daughter moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Depends on what I'm trying to do.
I have noticed that Tarji's clarifying shampoo does in fact do a good job and most times one good lather removes all the build up. But you definitely have to go in with a good conditioner bc it does strip the hair a bit but not in a harsh way. After I've conditioned my hair it's almost like I have a reset. My hair takes oil better and my hair tends to comply with the styling products better. I get mine from Target bc if you don't like it you can return it. Plus they usually sell it for a good price at Target.
thank you for this... i appreciate this review so much!
Thanks for the honest review youre doing Gods work 👏🏾
Thanks for this review! Was wondering your hair porosity. Overtime I have realized that hair products that are geared for, or work better for low porosity hair. I too crave slip and moisture. One thing that helps me with the moisture piece is steaming with every moisturizing deep conditioner. Deep conditioning with a heated cap or hooded dryer plus shower cap just didnt do the trick, but that steam though!
I'm really interested in trying out Cecred. I really appreciated watching your review before I make my purchase. Thank you for posting this, sis! Your hair is GORGEOUS btw!!!!!!!!!

I read through the comments while watching your vid. Before the end, I had the thought I’d be able to replace my 2 step aphogee treatment and then I heard you say it in your wrap up 😊
Don't fix what isn't broken. Hydrolysed Collagen, Hydrolysed Quinoa, Hydrolysed Veg Protein Silanetriol and Collagen Amino Acids are the major strengthening/conditioning Protein.
The rest are volumising, humectants and conditioning. That a product has no slip doesn't mean it has too much Protein; it means it lacks ingredients that give slip in the first five ingredients e.g. Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Silicones, Polyquaterniums, Emollients etc.
happy for you!!! cut that two-step!

Excellent, thorough review. Thank You!!!!
Thanks for doing this honest review for us 4c ladies
My pleasure 😊
I think they might have done too much protein in the products. My hair is protein sensitive so I need a few products that don't lean so heavily on it.
I totally agree, I think people who color, relax, or process their hair in some way would benefit more from this line than I would. I really wish they had put way more moisture into them or into another line.
Yes. I agree. I read the ingredient list online and it was a ‘no’ for me. I’ve had protein overlapping too many times so I’m very careful with the products that I use. I can’t use Cecred because of too many proteins and it’s not cost effective.
@@cutenobi totally understandable!
All the protein in the products creates the dryness I think, my hair doesn't like to much protein or it starts to break. Deffo if your hair has been coloured then maybe it will work for those people.
Circling back after a bit to update y'all. Yes this line definitely gave me some protein overload effects. I took a break from when I first used and tried again yesterday - so a few weeks break between uses. Chile my hair got so tangled up after the shampoos. Oy! I was like okay I am done and skipped the deep conditioner. I immediately took the products and gave them to my boyfriend since he really ain't got no hair to tangle up. LOL. I love Bey, but this line is not for me. Not surprising bc my hair likes very few product lines.
I appreciate your honest review. Too expensive for me to try. I love your hair. As far as a gel for defining my 4C curls I love Doux Big Poppa. No crunchy ness at all.
Thanks for the review. I just didn’t get the exfoliating shampoo scrub. I was always afraid to use scrubs in my hair because of the abrasiveness, and afraid of it cutting and ruining my strands. I asked the “professionals” on Instagram to explain why the scrubs wouldn’t ruin my hair but no one answered and continued giving a 20 out of 10 reviews
You dont need a scrub for your hair. Thats another gimmick to ruin your hair. Leave that experimental ish to the w women 😂
Yeah it can be tough to to get answers questioned at times lol I def. don't think it would cause your harm due to excessive abrasiveness because i really couldn't feel it on my scalp at all but everyone has a different scalp so I would def. take caution!
Taraji Hensen has a scalp scrub with peppermint. It was too thick but you could definitely feel the granules. I was afraid over time it would tear my 4C strands so I've been using it as a foot/heel scrub works wonders lol
I bought the Cecred products. My hair is natural, straight 4c. So far, I used the clarifying shampoo, hydrating shampoo, moisturizing conditioner, hydrating lotion, and nourishing hair oil. All of the products were easy to open, and no, it wasn't hard for the products to come out of the bottles. Both shampoos worked great, the hydrating shampoo being the best to me. Talk about a detangling shampoo, with slip, sheesh! The moisturizing conditioner worked very well. I would say my favorites are the hydrating shampoo, moisturizing conditioner, and hydrating hair oil. I did notice a difference, a positive one over the other brand I had been using prior. And yes, I am a product junkie, and I am not afraid to spend my money on some hair care. So I've used a lot of brands. No, you do not have to use a lot of the product. A little goes a long way. I would definitely buy it again, and if I could only buy a few products (so far), I would buy the hydrating shampoo, moisturizing conditioner, and hydrating lotion. The price is comparable to other high-end brands, with it actually being cheaper than some from that standpoint. I don't know about anybody else, I honestly liked the products 🤷♀️.
Thank you for sharing your experience!

Thanks for your honesty. The only product that I am interested in trying is the ‘Moisture Sealing Lotion’.
Thanks for this review! I'm starting to see that people who prefer gels (for wngs or twistsouts etc) are really liking this line. If you don't enjoy the feeling of holding products then it seems like the moisture sealing motion is too stiff. 🤔
I totally agree! I don't think that these products will perform well for all hair types and all hair routines, but I'm glad there are a lot of people finding that it works for them.
I love your reviews ❤ i have the moisturizing shampoo and the deep conditioner and i love them . I have type 4 hair , thick strands and i wear my hair in a wash and go / twist out , if anyone is wondering ❤

I have natural 4a/b hair. For the last 5 years I have been avoiding silicones and sulfates. I recently added stopped caring and decided to go back to my old shampoo plus I bought all the bond treatments on the market. God I am so happy my hair is starting to look better. Less breakage. DO NOT BY IN TO THE SILCONE AND SULFATE FREE IF IT IS RUINING YOUR HAIR.
Hello, lovely review. I think with every haircare line there will always be products that don’t necessarily agree with our hair. Have you tried Kenya Moore Haircare?

This was an excellent review - thank you so much. Just out of curiosity, did you do the quiz first then buy the products based on the recommendations given?
Thank you! I did the quiz, but ultimately purchased the products that I felt would fit me the best.
Thank you for your response 😃 one more question; do you think it might have been different if you’d gone with the recommendations they had given? e.g. were any of the ones in the quiz some of the ones you didn’t like or were the quiz ones spot on?
Trying to figure out if I should buy based on quiz results or gut feel hence the questions
I love love your hair it’s gorgeous!!!!
Sounds like that moisture lotion may be better for doing a wash and go where you use a blow dryer to diffuse and dry the curls - not straighten. I also wonder if these products would work better on soaking wet hair. You might have issues with moisture if you’re using a lot of oils and butters before using water and water based products.
Great review! Thank you 😊
I'm not a black woman, I was just curious on the product. But since I'm here ... your hair seems super healthy and shiny. It's beautiful. You should share your usual haircare routine because it's gorgeous.

The products are great, but remember genetics play a key role.
Consider Beyoncé's bloodline for at least half of her hair texture, length, and thickness.
Good luck, everyone.
Exactly! On the genetics tip, same thing goes for Tracee Ellis Ross's Pattern Hair Care Line. I've heard great things about Pattern, but as a reformed product junkie, I'll stick with my fav go-to.
And Tia Mowry. Like why would I purchase hair care products from someone mixed?
Trust me…Beyoncé was not using this product on her hair all these years. She’ll never just freely give you the info on what she really did. She does not care about yall she care about yall money.

I know thats right 😂
Thanks for telling me about the hard water!!!
I love the products purchased them all... you have to add the water with the conditioner then add heat. I like the moisture sealing lotion but the 1st time i used way too much they say use sparingly and they mean it. Hands down the moisture shampoo, masque, and oil are the best.
Yep I love the clarifying shampoo… moisturizing shampoo… the conditioner….and oil…
The scent of the products seems to be intriguing.
I can't lie they smell GOOD!
The properties of the CeCred shampoo and protein conditioner sound good, so i might try those if they go on sale. My 4c hair prefers a light oil mixed with water, so I could use the oil.
However, a line without either a detangling conditioner or a very thick deep conditioner is a big problem for my hair. And the line doesn't have a good pre poo or thick oil to use as a hot oil pre poo treatment, which are both essentials for my moisture-craving hair.
For low porosity hair, the moisturuzing conditioners would need a lot of tweaking. If the products were $18 a bottle, I'd mix in tea tree oil and castor oil where needed. For $42, I ain't customizing products.
I like the product, but I have locs so I am not looking for softness. The protein helps to strengthen my hair. Thank you for the honest review.
Thanks for sharing!
Yes I have a hard time finding shampoo for locs because most shampoo for blk people have "dentangling" or "softening" printed somewhere on it
😮cost way to much money and if beyonce was really wanting people to support her hair line she would have made it affordable for everyone
I already knew the products were not made for my 4c hair! I will stick to my products.
So you buying each product separately for $38 Chile she will not get that from me
38 usd?! I’m in Canada that would be almost 50 hellz no 😂I could never
