Thanks Bino. I did exactly this when trying to follow your previous video and couldn't find a shizl. I think this is better than the shizl because of the ability to quickly disconnect from or move to the other side of a two way sliding knot. AND, they cost about $7 and are available at just about everywhere that sells hardware!

Yes a climbing line that is still in good condition. They are kind of expensive this will work well and it could help you decide if buying a built one is worth it. Take care!

I used 12 feet but you can make it as long as you want. You do loose about a foot and a half on each Double Fisherman's knot.
Hi Bino: so I made a 2 in 1 like the video and it seems very useful. My question: how do you manage the slack when not in use?
The ones I've are not that long so I just let them dangle. If you made a very long one you might try to daisy chain it.
Place the slack in your tool holders or attach non-locking carabiners to your saddle via paracord loops or heavy duty zip ties.
