One of my driving students bought a 720s for a track car. It's an amazing vehicle. The transmission occasionally has a balk shifting but otherwise I feel like George Jetson.
Drove by 720s from 0-18k miles. As long as I drove it, I never had problems. McLarens do not like to sit -- they will have false alarm electric probs if you don't keep the battery 100% changed. 720s is the best supercar I have owned!
Just one thing which has nothing to do with this video. Maybe its better you start selling stock cars and ask the client If he wants an exhaust upgrade. If he does then he chooses the exhaust he wants because he has his own taste and not everyone wants the car with a loud exhaust note. If he chooses to do it you make it at a nice price otherwise he might not want to do it in your dealer and ends up doing it in another place. The problem is, its very likely he will tune the ECU to have huge power numbers If he does it in another place, thats what most people always do when they have to tune the ECU because of the aftermarket exhaust, especially in turbocharged cars. And thats when serious problems will appear. If such a thing happens its very likely they will put it stock again and send it to you to pay the bill. But if its you making the mod the car will be kept under full warranty because you will make it in a proper way. About the manual conversions on Ferraris i don't think its a good business, first very few people are interested in having a manual Ferrari, second after the conversion the car is no longer considered stock, even If it was all made like it came from factory people are always afraid it wasn't done properly so when they sell the car again usually they will lose a lot of money and it will take much longer to sell. So mostly only the people who will keep the car will do the conversion, usually people that tried the manual version before, which are very few, some will take the risk without having experienced the manual before but thats even fewer. About the cars you sell of course you have to sell Ferraris because thats your thing thats why this channel started and for sure the channel is a good advertisement for your business so you must not let the channel die. But If you want to sell at a good pace to pay the bills and have income you have to choose cars that sell fast, that a lot of people are interested in and that most of your audience likes because like i said the channel is what is helping you sell, thats your advantage over the competition. I would say having always two Ferraris to sell maybe one front engine and a mid engine, but thats your choice, one mid engine Lamborghini, one McLaren, one or two american cars like the new corvettes and the new Ford Mustang Shelby Cobra GT500 maybe a Camaro ZL1 too, one or two or more exotic SUVS like the Lamborghini Urus because thats what sells the most nowadays and something unusual to keep the audience interested. Try to choose cars that are reliable or that have only minor problems because thats whats best for your business and usually thats what sells faster at higher volumes. Usually people are always afraid of buying problematic models and models with high maintenace, especially with big bills like the F355 in which you have to take the engine out to replace the belts, usually people runaway from this kind of cars even if its their dream car, because so too they have to manage their finances well. For sure they don't want big bills neither unpleasent surprises after the warranty expires, usually they always buy cars thinking they will be keepers, mostly they never will, but thats always what they have in their mind when buying a exotic/sports car.
Have they sold any other car than the Lambo Super Leg with an aftermarket exhaust? And wasn't that in fact something the guy who bought the car asked for? This has a stock exhaust as far as I can see. Heck, they even converted the exhaust on that oddball 458 to a Cali certified exhaust.

In the spirit of the 6-wheeled Jeep trade offer (I watch things out of order some times…), I’ll trade you a bag of Cheetos, some cheesecake, and a 2018 BMW M550i. If you don’t want the BMW,then I’ll have to withdraw the Cheetos from the offer. 😂
They are not supposed to leak. You should install a cap with a seal on those Schrader style valves. This guy does not strike me as a very knowledgeable guy with cars.

“As long as you drive the car it’s fine.” Could not agree more 👍
Yup

Nice
Mine sits and I don’t have any problems.
That is a very good looking Nissan engine.
Yup
Just too bad it has zero to do with Nissan. Designed, developed and produced by mclaren. I swear haters love to make up garbage. So sad.
It had to be from being shipped across the country. My 720 sits all winter, December thru May and those valves don’t leak fluid.
Hmm, it really wasn't shipped across the country.
Very informative, great vid!
Glad it was helpful!
So i saw a comment recently about Adam, where is seemed to be a nice guy. From Australia.
He is no longer with the company
Does anyone know what they were asking for this 720S Spider? It’s looked like a very nice example 👍🏻
It just sold

@@AB-80X I did not know that.
If someone wants to pay for an exhaust that's one thing but they don't typically add value to the sale.

I don’t see this for sale on your website
It just sold
@@normalguysupercar congrats!
Those valves look like they may have stuck open a nit, might just need to actuate it, may need some.fluid as well
Yeah I think so
So, if one of those sits for months and keeps leaking fluid, is there a reservoir you fill, say like with brakes or power steering fluid?
Power steering
Apparently McLaren has announced that 720S has ended production. Maybe that’ll help your sale.
It already sold before this came out

You sold the 720s ?

The undercarrage is crazy cleam.
Yeah it really is

Yes

Seems easier to work on than Ferraris.
In some ways it is. Getting parts is harder
Don’t you have to replace the fluid?
It will tell you if it is too low.
It's shared with the power steering fluid
