Oh, this Thursday night live should be interesting. We may see Dan with a pained look on his face. 🤪 I feel your pain on the leaves. We have a giant cottonwood tree and if we leave our garage open it fills up with leaves.
Legit though; I think it’s really wonderful that you’re into bird watching. My main focus in life is taking care of six rescue parrots. Parrot or wild, birds are truly incredible animals.
I would suggest you fix the wall yourself if you have a few free hours once you're recovered from surgery. Remove the interior panels to gain access to the backside of the exterior. Push the exterior panels back flat as best you can. You won't get it 100% perfect but you'll get it 90% good and it probably won't be too noticeable. Hopefully the spray foam is not in the way and survives the repair process in OK shape, but if it doesn't or if you need to remove it to repair the siding, you can use great stuff foam in a can to make spot repairs to the spray foam. It won't be pretty but will be hidden behind the interior panels so nobody will ever see it. There should only be horizontal wall girts there (with the window supported by thin framing between girts). So I don't think you will have to tangle with any posts or major structure. If one of the horizontal wall girts got bent in then you may have more serious fixing to do, but you won't know until you get a look inside the wall. The only purpose of the horizontal girts is to hold the siding, so no major concern if a girt was damaged. They can be bent back straight too. My dad had a large steel building for his construction business and workers were always banging into it with trucks, forklifts, and equipment. We got good at making repairs. Sort of like PDR on a building. Good luck!!
I have a pressure washer like yours and mine stopped working prior to 1 year mark and they promptly sent another one. Worth asking about. I also bought an Active 2.0. Upgrade hose to maybe Uberflex but it seems to be a good one!
I had a pressure washer that seemed broken but it was just that the filter going into the line was clogged. The used one of those little diaphragm metal ones that just fits at the end of the hose. I upgraded to a full inline filter and haven't had an issues since.
Put a long flower pot in front of the outside damage, use some caulk to seal it up and call it a day. Wait until you have to repaint the whole building before doing the repairs.
The pressure washer buy a Karcher Profissional. Lucky here in Europe stuff has 3 years warranty for domestic and 1 year for professional.. Is the same in the US?!
Yeah... Not the best in the world, not the cheapest, but sturdy, serviceable, and the ones sold through obsessed garage are optimized for carwashing... As my old pa always said, I'm not rich enough to buy cheap tools... 😎
Idea: Get a big bandaid sticker and put it on that outer part of the wall that was damaged for "Humor" effect. And lets hope the Ferrari driver's insurance covers the costs for repair in the end. Oh.. on the bird, Northern Flickers are woodpeckers. They help eat up ants, and bugs that might be in your trees.
Merry Christmas Dan & Josh! Gotta give you guys a lot of credit for running a successful business like you do! With only 2 people with exceptional skills is commendable!
I have been selling online since 1995. You will never rid yourself of ignorant shoppers, no matter how good your customer service is. Some people are ridiculous. Some people dont even remember what they ordered. They dont read titles and descriptions. They notice a device color change though. Its mind numbing. You just have to ket that roll off your back and dont reveal it. People will poke
I notice that enthusiast car prices are starting to moderate. Not much but that is progress. Do you ever worry that you will end up $20K upside down the moment you buy a car? I only ask because I have been looking for a second home and there is plenty of inventory that people overpaid for during the pandemic and now they want to sell but the prices are not correct as they are sitting. What is the G wagen going for BTW?
I always enjoy your videos even though I don’t agree with everything that you say or do. That said, the Bird app is absolutely awesome. I find myself more interested in birdwatching and learning about them now that I’m past 50 so when I’m not driving a car around from my collection. I thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to birds. What an awesome tip! Thanks for sharing.
Was the wall hit by someone with no insurance I could see you're concerned. if he has insurance they'll have to do the right thing and fix it correctly.
@ were big bird geeks too. It’s amazing all the different birds we get in our backyard living on lake LBJ. Just last week we had house wren get itself trapped in the gas fireplace in our bedroom. We had to take it apart to save it. Just yesterday I saw a pair of them on our waterfront deck.
Josh, you need to find a young kid WHO LOVES cars , kids are amazing with computers, and will save you a ton of time ! KRANZLE advice is the best advice ever !
Any thing made in China won't last, been thru several. Spent the grand and bought a Kranzle 4 years ago from Matt M. best washer on the market and they're rebuildable with their kit. Made in Germany also.
It must be nice dealing with super rich people who dont complain about money like poor ass customers who buys normal cars and not ferrari and lamborghini.
Can't believe that customer would not wait 24 hours for you guys to respond and try to make it right which is way more than reasonable. On top of it he disputes the payment! Total BS move on his part! It's a shame unfortunately these days that customers just go right to the negative thinking you're going to rip them off. Great move to ban the idiot. Probably the type of person that would find a $50 bill laying on the ground and bitch that it wasn't a $100!
The cheap made in xxxxx dont last and is expensive...take the washer snd dryer my wife bought when she was living in 2015 a LG....front loader.....i got to know the repair guy too well...about 3 years ago and wasting 1000s on this crap i bought speedqueen set made in Wisconsin....they are steel not cheap plastic like the lg brand....not one problem....you get what you pay for. I bought a samsung cheapo ac to put in my shed so i dont faint in the summer...it was 200 bucks lasted 3 months and broke. Good luck with the snip snip...im glad im old ...sex gave me up many years ago.....
Go for a Karcher pressure washer. Not cheap but will last. For the leaves, just a small pull out barrier will do the trick, like a roller blind but horizontal
Will probably cost more in damage to the supercars than to the building. Probably best to surround the building with beautiful planter pots instead of ugly bollards.

Sorry to hear about all your problems.I drove my 430 today,no Buildings were damaged.I hope you Josh,Meg and your Child have a very Merry Christmas!!
Merry Christmas!
Ferraris have rats too!
They make retractable garage door screens. Several of us in Michigan have these. They work Great!! Several open air bars use them as well!
Oh yeah I've seen those
I have a shop like yours and cut down trees that cause leaves to fall into the building. Plus, it makes me feel better in case a tree were to fall.
Yeah I like having the trees more than the leaves annoy me so they'll stay for now. Lol
13:42 "Insert Homer Simpson - NEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRDDDDD".......video here...... 🤣
Haha yes!
DIY it. Metal panels are cheap. Don't let a contractor overcharge you for a simple job.
The guy we used was very reasonable
Buy some long 2x6 lumber. Stand it up on edge and put in the doorways. No more leaves coming in.
Hmm might try that
Oh, this Thursday night live should be interesting. We may see Dan with a pained look on his face. 🤪
I feel your pain on the leaves. We have a giant cottonwood tree and if we leave our garage open it fills up with leaves.
Yeah it's like no matter what the leaves find a way into the garage
Legit though; I think it’s really wonderful that you’re into bird watching.

Very kind of you.
🤯 my dear god!!! Was the Ferrari ok? Hope it repairs well soon! !! Hey atleast it wasn’t a FIERO🤣😂
Sounds like it was mostly undamaged

Well given the guy who damaged it is willing to pay to fix it, I'd rather hire someone
Good luck Dan! When I got snipped, my nuts ached for 3 years. Seriously. 1% have post vasectomy testicular pain. It sucked!
Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that. So far it seems to be reasonable for me
I have a pressure washer like yours and mine stopped working prior to 1 year mark and they promptly sent another one. Worth asking about. I also bought an Active 2.0. Upgrade hose to maybe Uberflex but it seems to be a good one!
We are getting a replacement under warranty thankfully
Kranzle pressure washer is the only way to go - had one for 6 years - never had an issue
Yeah that send to be the way
Active 2.0 power washer is great. Had mine for a couple of years. No issues.
I'll check that out
I had a pressure washer that seemed broken but it was just that the filter going into the line was clogged. The used one of those little diaphragm metal ones that just fits at the end of the hose. I upgraded to a full inline filter and haven't had an issues since.
Ah nice. I think it's the pump impeller separated from the motor in ours
Mo needs to go back to supervising the dealership
True. More napping and less working. Lol
The joy of owning a business Dan. 😂😂😂
Pretty much
Almost 100k brother
Keeps inching closer!
Put a long flower pot in front of the outside damage, use some caulk to seal it up and call it a day. Wait until you have to repaint the whole building before doing the repairs.
Haha not a terrible idea
Buy once, cry once for pressure washers. You really do get what you pay for
Yeah clearly lol
How cool would Armco barriers look, and function, lined around the building to protect it from future hits
Actually that would be pretty cool
The pressure washer buy a Karcher Profissional. Lucky here in Europe stuff has 3 years warranty for domestic and 1 year for professional.. Is the same in the US?!
I'll have to look that up
You need a Kränzle pressure washer, they are available in the US i think.
The Bosch Blue GHP 5-13 C is also a professional pressure washer.

Real men milk that post-snip recovery for a week with nothin but RDR2 and soup. ;)
Lol nice

I love that idea
5:50 was it a car-sized drone that dented that? 😢
Lol
That 458 is looking good.
Oh yes!
Use some car repair welding & hammer tools, can straighten it up, then you repair like you would repair a car exterior.
I don't know anything about doing body work
@@normalguysupercar Have you received my reply ? Seems the message has been deleted by YT.

Thank you very much! We're almost to the point where we absolutely need to hire help but we're pushing back as long as possible.
Frozen Peas for the Win !!! Its an easy procedure :)
Yeah it wasn't too bad

I love that app. It's really fun trying to get birds to "talk" back.
Buy a Kranzle pressure washer, service it once a year (oil change) and thank me later.
Yeah I'm looking into them
Bingo, bought mine 4 years back, not one glitch.
@@charley95sheridan44 Had mine 2 years and not a glitch. The fact that they weight a ton goes a long way towards proving how well built they are.
I was thinking about buying that pressure washer, I kept getting ads for it constantly.
Yeah I'm not impressed
Was the wall hit by someone with no insurance I could see you're concerned. if he has insurance they'll have to do the right thing and fix it correctly.
They will take care of it. I'm not worried about that.
Recommend Kranzle presure washers, they are expensive but very high quality..made in germany
Yeah that seems to be what everyone is saying
It got my love bird answering, lol

Install a few ceiling fans to help circulate the air.
We have a big one
Matt at Obsessed Garage will set you up with a professional pressure washer
Yeah I'll call him
I fell under Matt's spell for the Kranzle, best unit on the market.
The biggest bad news is the snip snap to be honest!
It was not pleasant
When you wanna sit there and have a beer and enjoy it, but it’s time to go home say a lot of men with toddlers😂
Yup. Gotta get some time with the kiddo
Just downloaded the Merlin Bird ID app . Thanks
Awesome, you'll love it
Holy cow Dan, your voice will go up higher. You might sing in the womens choir 😅😅
Lol
Nice Vette…….and break out the bags of frozen peas.
Yup
A good PDR man should have no problem fixing the wall.
Eh it's creased pretty bad

It was still under warranty so they are sending a new one thankfully
Isn’t someone else who hit the building responsible?
Yes.
C six grand sports are the sweet spot for corvette
They are! Great price, great looking, reliable, fast, great performance.
Snip snip? TMFI
$1000? And they last how long? This is where value beats price.
Agreed. Cheap was crap this time
Bro bag of frozen peas and you’ll be fine in a day. It doesnt hurt for long. Just like a hard work out more or less. Not painful. Just sore.
Yeah it's sore, not terrible though
Count me in as a fellow bird nerd. Who also doesn’t like sticky buttons. What are the odds…
Lol yup
You can scab and cut the panels, no need to replace the whole panel.
Yeah that'll save some money
Buy the same one, wait 2 months, send the faulty one back for a refund and keep the new one.
We're getting it replaced under warranty thankfully
Contact Matt from Obsessed Garage and see if he has a pressure washer that’ll work for you.

Oh yikes! Yeah I definitely don't want to push it and cause further injury
What's the deal with the G wagon? Is it for sale, don't see it on the website or videos for it.
It is for sale. We had the headliner replaced so it took a while to get ready. We haven't listed it yet but it'll be up soon
Clearly the building was at fault for not yielding to the supercar.
Lol correct. Damn building got in the way
