Brilliant on many levels. Great to catch a casual conversation with Colin where he's not frenzied building something dangerous, and get some insight into his old projects, while making a really useful tool, to hold really useful tools. Need a bunch for my own modest workshop where 40 years of tool collection sits unorganized and unprotected! EDIT: WAIT WAIT WAIT, the pads are around 10 pounds a drawer?!? How do I not already have these in my workshop? That seems really affordable.
40 years could mean a few tools, great thing is they give you organised layering so larger awkward shaped tools can sit on top and the draws still close. This and trap mat from gear wrench means no more messy tool boxes!
Damn good comment. I agree its nice to see a bit of the man behind the madness of Furze... But if you hadn't mentioned the price I'd not actually have bothered looking, figuring it was too expensive to be worth it - my mishmash of tools I inherited and all the bits I've picked up in the last 15 odd years are already sorted well enough to get by, mostly in recycled cardboard box cutouts. I would however be astonished if the foam wouldn't be neater, look way nicer and allow for even denser tool placement! Don't know when I'll get round to doing it though...

Shadow Foam and Colin Furze, it’s a match made in heaven. I love the look of Shadow Foam and Colin, I can’t wait to see what projects you’ll be building in time to come 👍🏾

You guys could have saved me so much work over the years! Looks amazing stuff
Although maybe not the conventional route for Shadow Foam as most of it is for equipment or tools. Would love to see a collab with an artist. They always have so many brushes, paints and little stuff scattered chaotically, it would be so pleasing to see a painter organize stuff.
Great idea for a product as a up and coming aircraft engineer it is especially important to make sure all of your tools are accounted for, and with shadow foam it would make the process easier. I will definitely be using it when I start my proper tool chest.
Love the collaboration Colin is such a down to earth dude, I’ve been watching him for years and he’s been make crazy builds out of that little shed. Just wanted to say, thank you to Shadow Foam, the best tool drawer liners ever. Tried many different brands and never had the quality that I so desperately wanted. Also, as a long time subscriber to Collin (2 years 8 Months 2 Days) it's become almost a personal journey with him along the road of progress and development. I've learned a few things watching the master at work. It's really cool to see a collaboration with you guys also. 👍

This foam is awesome stuff. Never even heard of it until I saw the Furze workshop video. It's great to see all the extra content with Colin and yourself. I'm just about to start building a reloading room for precision shooting, so going to get some of this stuff as I have loads of rifle dies, and loads of other smallish tools as well as scopes, trigger systems and moderators, and wasn't sure how I was going to organise all of them, but this will be ideal. I'm in a wheelchair, so having everything easy to reach and visible is crucial for me. Keep up the good work.😁
@Shadow Foam Not yet. But I will definitely check it out now. This stuff would be ideal for gun cases and cabinets. At the moment in my gun cabinet my rifles and shotguns are held in place with pretty flimsy foam, but your foam would be 100% better. I could carve out the butt stock shape and they'd stand up way better.
@Shadow Foam I just watched the airsoft anonymous video now. Pretty awesome. This would definitely work with my .308, .223, 6.5mm creedmoor and my long barrel pistol. Going to order some foam in now. 😁😁

Sadly, Brian is no longer with us (taken at the age of tender age of 57 by Cancer on 28th March 2020). I have continued to watch Colin Furze since being introduced. I love how organized you can be with this foam, real brilliant work! I’d use it for the same thing as Collin probably, because I have a lot of tools and not a lot of organization.
I really enjoyed the cutting out of the letters, because it reminded me of art class in high school, where I used an exacto-knife to cut a lion out of black construction paper and then glued different colors of tissue paper like what you'd put in a gift bag to the back to make it look like stained glass. I'm not a handy person myself, but I love all that artsy-fartsy business.

Thanks, we enjoyed it too!
Looks amazing with all new shiney tools, one of each in every size… I’ve got a load of old tools that I’ve collected over the last 30+ years… would be awesome to organise but never going to look as good 😌
No reason they won;t look as good, take your time on the layout and you'll do a great job!
Loving this Colin furze collab, been watching both of your videos for a while. Good job
Cheers Thomas, hope to do another next year!
Love the content i dont think i have ever watch a video over 1 hour on TH-cam before. always great to see the latest tools. Keep up the amazing work 👏
Tim kudos to you for watching the whole hour, appreciate you man! 👍
Nice you got involved! Shadow foam seems like it has so many uses
We've only scratched the surface for what it can do!
Liking the unedited banter, tops
Great to see the end result of these video's - certainly worth the effort!
I couldn't agree more!
Love the organization!!!! You guys do such a great job logically laying out the tool. Very professional. Keep up the great work.
Thank you, it's the longest part of the job but instantly the most satisfying!
Really tempted to do my tool box with your foam, will be in touch. Always good to see Colin 👍🏻
I'm moving home in a few months, the new place has a large garage/workshop so these videos are useful inspiration to get it organized properly. 👍
Let me know how you get on with your organizing!
I was looking at this stuff for my camping essentials, torches, knives etc... Im sold now.
You won't be disappointed Gary!
This foam drawers looks really helpful!
Amazing material that does a great job of displaying all tools aesthetically and practically,
Very nice 👍
Brilliant, what a matchup! I’ve got my Shadow Foam waiting to be put in my airsoft case, I’m just waiting for a new rifle sight to be delivered before cutting it.
Keep up the good work.
Send us a picture when you've completed it! 👌
I could really use this to know which tools my wife and/or son have taken, and maybe use it to hide spares so i am never without.
Great fun and what a super idea for keeping things tidy. I really like the idea that you can find all the various types of pliers, they are always a pain. On my Christmas list now!!!!
Are yours knipex too?
That foam should be photo impressionable. Just layout the tools and hit with a particular light to leave the tool outline for easy cutting.
Not a bad idea, we'll have to try that at some point!
I've loved watching the Colin Furze collab videos, was great to watch you both just chatting whilst doing the cutting. I knew I had to watch these after seeing Colins power tool wall in his new workshop video, it looks epic! I will definitely be buying some shadowfoam in the future to tidy up my daughters archery bow case!
Never seen it used for an archery case, you'll have to send me some pictures of the finished article!
@@ShadowFoam will do! Any plans to do a Black/Purple option?
looks great, satisfyingly neat. shame we didn't get to see the biscuit drawer though
Colin made it after we'd left 😅
Watching this makes me want to upgrade my work shop. Looks awsome guys
Do it! Thanks for the comment!
