I can relate to this ...i am going US in coming August... But from last few months I m realising that I lived in this country, It has many disadvantages but it has its uniqueness which I will never found in other parts of world... the reason i watch rick and korbin's contents is not just because i want to entertain myself, but because these two stupids helped me understand my country better, like few years back i always use to say that i'm gonna leave this country as soon as i start earning , i use to think that american lifestyle is way better than india, then i grew up and i started understanding the uniqueness of india , and i started loving my country again, and rick and korbin has played an important role in changing my psychological construct these past few months .
I am an Indian and after watching this i have a new found love and respect for my country now. Thank you guys.

'Reclaiming' is an important word here. Because India was always world leader and ticked almost all aspects in early times before countries decided to colonize and loot everything to get bigger.

I am indian and I do not deny the fact whatever she said in this video, but the real problem which we are experiencing is that is the " water problem", According to "niti aayog"( gov't data) 21 cities will be without groundwater in 2020, this is alarming, so how much ever we may grow in terms of economy it won't be sustainable when we don't have enough water so govt should work on sustainable agriculture more and allocate more funds to it compared to the other sectors like defence and help our fellow farmers and ultimately our citizens, this is the real situation in india , we may brag about the fastest economy but 40% of indians will be without water next year, so let's talk about that
You make a decent point, but a major correction, 40% of Indians will NOT be without water next year, but they will be by 2030 if current trends continue. It must also be said that India does not lack for water, but there is absurd wastage of water for such a large population. Rains fall in different quantity at different times in different parts of India. Some regions get too much, therefore floods. Some ares get too little, therefore droughts. The national river interlinking project was supposed to deal with this issue by diverting water from regions with excess water to regions with water shortage, with linked reservoirs providing storage. So to be fair the government is aware of the issue and has a plan to deal with it. Unfortunately, activists (probably funded from foreign nations) cried environmental issues and delayed the project, only one out of thirty projects has been built so far. Hopefully in the next five years the government will get on with it. Also, 140 million hectares of land could be brought into micro irrigation, conserving a lot water, but thus far only 8 hectares are covered with micro irrigation. Also some desalination plants have been built in some coastal areas, but this could easily be greatly expanded given India's vast coastline and with the cost of energy (desalination is energy intensive) coming down as renewable energy has become more widespread and cheaper in India. Water availability is actually a very solvable problem. In 2030 India will either be enjoying water surplus, or facing water crisis. A lot depends on these identified areas. But the government seems to be in the right direction. Completing these projects to scale in a timely manner is now the mission.
