I am moping. I’ve never had a father figure, or any male influence. I needed this so bad so much more than you’ll ever know. Thank you sir. Thank you so much.
I'm the same age as you, went through the exact same thing during the lockdowns. I know it's hard right now brother, but what you're going through right now is one of the greatest opportunities for growth this world can offer. Take care of yourself, and face yourself. Do your best to make of this situation what you can. Feel what you need to feel, and don't run from it. Things will get better, all in due time. I hope you're doing alright there, brother.
My father, a veteran of the Battle of the Bulge, WWII, consistently impressed on me when I was growing up and when confronted with adversity and wanted to quit or was feeling sorry for myself, that to be a man with our name meant that we stand our ground and never give up, because the finest steel must endure the hottest fire. My father walked his talk and demonstrated to me and my siblings what it is to be a man.He also made sure we read the Bible and thanked God for our blessings. Forever grateful for my father's guidance.

I needed this, when I was 19 I messed up and got in some trouble and was facing some prison time down here in GA, a few months after that I found out I had a baby on the way and it felt like my world was falling apart and that I wouldn’t be able to be the father I wanted to be but I knew I had to hang in there and do what I could . Back on July 11th 2023 my beautiful baby girl was born. As most other fathers know, it was the greatest day of my life, but I still had that feeling of impending doom on my shoulders. Now I’m 21, and back in April of this year I went to court and had my charges lessened to misdemeanor charges, I only ended up doing 7 days in jail and 2 years of probation now, I unfortunately ended up losing my job at the time also, but I get to come home and go to sleep with my Girls still and that to me is the biggest blessing I’ve ever had. I kept my head up and pushed through the hard times with the thought of being a good father in my head and of course as you said it’s still a little rough… but that’s life. I’ve got the lord and my girls by my side and that’s all I need to get through the rough times.
70 y.o. widow living alone for 11 yrs. on my 3.5 acre place in Texas, I approve this message. Been a widow for 13 yrs. First few years thought I needed a man. Nope, I didn't need an earthly man. I needed the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Men, you do, too. Life IS hard. Harder if you try to do it w/o Jesus Christ. Finally figured out: Don't cry about problems, pray about them. Ask for wisdom from the Holy Spirit, keep doing your best. And always remember to Praise and Thank the Lord for your life.
I am a 28-year-old English teacher living with my parents in rural Brazil. The salary is terrible, and I need to travel about 50 km three times a week to teach approximately nine classes a day, in addition to some online ones. It's exhausting. I complain every 30 minutes. I have no time for a social or love life, just work. I want to quit now, but at my boss's request, I will endure six months of pure chaos at work. I just want to escape, but I need to endure this beating for my mother. There are other very personal details I can't share here, and after watching this video, I will succeed. Purely out of instinct, pride, and dignity. The bell will ring, and I'll be here to give my interview to Joe Rogan. This is life. React, men. The next round is about to start. Thank you, God.

train insane - high intensity, multiple days per week. Full body. I'm a physical therapist, and I have heard wild stories of improvements -albeit gradual - where MS, stroke, paraplegic patients suddenly get sensation/movement back. Work hard as hell in your daily life and at the gym with no promise of a miracle - work hard because it's part of who you are, a hard worker. And you may find yourself using those legs one day. Wishing you strength and resilience dude.

@SD-mj4wr I learned that as you grow, it’s common for things from your past to come back up in your mind, and you’ll feel the need to reprocess and reinterpret them. It’s a good sign; it means you have grown, you are growing, and you have the opportunity to reprocess whatever came up with new eyes and hopefully with kindness, clarity, and compassion for yourself and others.

We know life is hard. We just hate being told that everything is our fault when our future was stolen from us by banks, politicians, and the older generations.

Thanks so much Dwayne for saying out loud what many of us feel and know to be true but don’t share with family and friends. When you meet resistance that’s how you know you’re on the right path. Following God is the hardest thing to do right now. It’s part of living as a child of God. People will hate you and will find reasons to hate you. Keep working hard and don’t be a porcelain bowl. Men are bronze bowls. We get beat again and again and AGAIN but we cannot be broken. We still maintain our strength and purpose. Great message sir

Thank you Dwayne, this is absolute truth and this was a nice timely reminder. I know you’re a man of God, but as someone who practices Buddhism myself, this resonates to much. It absolutely is our lot to find life hard. Human life by its very nature is hard, that’s why we’re here. Distracting ourselves from that fundamental fact (through alcohol, social media etc) ultimately makes it even more difficult. We have to feel that difficulty and work through it - it’s the only way.
Thank you, Dwayne! My favorite motto is life is amazing if you let it be however, some days are a lot harder than that and these words in this video are amazing. My dad got killed when I was 3 months old and although I have older brothers have never really had a male role model. Thank you. I do have one amazing Mother though who raised me in church and never remarried nor did she ever give up.
I'm 23 but I really wished I grew up in your era. I'm black so that probably wouldn't be the best but I remember the days before social media and saw how it affected our generation today. When I was a kid in 8th grade the most social media we had was Facebook and not many used it. Todays society has been brainwashed to believe things that aren't true. They see videos, movies, and TV and think they are not doing something right when in reality that movie or show was designed to have a certain outcome. So definitely agree with your stance
Dating is not a necessity in life. Your relationship with Christ and eternal salvation matters. Trust me and a man who had more dates and relationships than you can shake a stick at. When you stop looking, that's when something worthwhile, usually presents itself..
You'll be alright brother. I will say that being single is highly underrated, so maybe it's hard to see it right now but appreciate what you've got while you got it.
Oh dude, do NOT even be bothered by such a small and insignificant thing. Keep working on yourself until you are the one being chased for your value to the smart woman.
I"m a gal and I'd like to tell you that you might just have dodged a bullet with that one refusing your date. I haven't dated in 25 years. Dating = Mating these days. It's a NO for me. I'm not doing the mating part til I say I DO this time around. Single Mom of one that has yet to meet his dad. Be the Man that the kind of Woman you want is looking for and God will bring her to you. But be Godly. Otherwise, it's like Proverbs, better to live in a corner of a roof than to live in the house with a contentious woman! lolz BTW--meeting women in a bar is probably not going to work. Even meeting folks at church is rough. I was meeting some pretty pervy guys at church too. Social Media is also not a good idea. Maybe horse, farm events might be a good place to meet someone in your lifestyle. You cannot bring a city girl to the country and expect her to be happy and vice versa...unless she really wants to live it and has experience in the past. Hope you find a good gal. It's tough out there. Lots of nutty, scary and materialistic people. I've been very content being single. God Bless You!
I'm not a man or religious but I appreciate the good advice, it always seems to help a bit in one way or another. It's amazing what we can learn even from people with different beliefs.
Thank you God for this timely message. I will get back up and fight. It’s been unfair, it’s been tiring and all.. but I will fight WHOEVER attacks my family’s progress 💪🏼 As you said, “til death do I part”

I’m 25, I smoke myself out everyday, run from the sadness and depression that has seemingly taken me and my life over. I’m completely lost… used to have it all together and ive lost it all.
My GrandFather was there too. So many terrible stories but helped them to continue to endure!
Thats ❤

I always love the wisdom, experience and knowledge that older men (those who do care) pass on to us! It’s always encouraging to see good folks out there as well.
You received outstanding Advice. Backbone is what he offered.
Carry on in his stead Brother.
My wife has had 4 unexpected surgery this years and i had to put a precious horse down on Tuesday, i just keep putting one foot in front of the other , sooner or later ill get out of the mud and back on high ground. Everyday is a gift .
God bless
Hope your wife is doing better, I am awaiting surgery too.
God bless you brother. Keep your head up
Hope your wife is better now and I relate to you , I lost my most beloved horse of 18 years too… 😔 I understand what you feel, you are not alone.
This video speaks to the need for men to come together, to be friends. To help each other. For too many of us are lonely.
You have to do this now to save this world 🌹
I needed this, when I was 19 I messed up and got in some trouble and was facing some prison time down here in GA, a few months after that I found out I had a baby on the way and it felt like my world was falling apart and that I wouldn’t be able to be the father I wanted to be but I knew I had to hang in there and do what I could .
And always remember to Praise and Thank the Lord for your life.
obrigado holly
Texas here too but I only wish I had 3.5 acres. I'm 43. Maybe one day. Stay strong. And Texas proud!
Your English is excellent
Stay strong! We are rooting for you. Something good will come right after the darkest moment. But, you can't give up.

Thank you so much Dewayne; my fight has been being confined to my wheelchair for the past 5 years because of becoming hemiplegic from a stroke. Many times I have no idea if I’ll ever be able to get back on my feet again; but I keep thinking of it and hoping that someday I’ll be able to. Your encouraging words are so inspiring and very appreciated! Thank you sir!
Thanks for sharing your story. Hang in there the best you can. Take care.
You are loved mate, keep fighting!
Me with my ability to speak - oh my God, have I been praying by my bedside with my father and mother for a single time where I can cough and I can talk smoothly again!!!!!!!! 😢😢😢 I just want to figure this all out, man... 😣☹️🥲❤️
train insane - high intensity, multiple days per week.

That is exactly the mentality I had when at 34 I was diagnosed with cancer. There were so many days I did not want to get up. Many days I did not want to go to work. But I did it any way. Quite frequently I audibly recall a verse that brings comfort. Psalm 116:7,” Be at rest once more, oh my soul, for the Lord has been good to you.” “Be at rest once more..” tells me King David had repeated struggles but recalled who is our source of Peace and strength. Thanks Dewayne for your encouragement.
I have been in depression off and on for several years. This message is absolutely the best I’ve heard in dealing with it. Thank you.

Damn I needed that Dwayne. Thanks! I’m actually happiest in the trenches and started losing that feel lately. Fighting the battle and overcoming?!? No drug, woman, food, anything, can replace it!
Me too! Don't even know why, things from the past returned, everything is hard and compilicated... I was also usually just happy
Sir, you truly have a calling. Thank you for answering it and sending these messages. God bless you.
9 months sober today. Life is tough an it sucks. But also its a blessing. I can choose to sit and complain or i can choose to better myself in every possible way. Today i choose to better myself and stay off social media. And at least 3 AA meetings a week to stay well.
I just discovered this man and I am so happy to have found him. God bless you and your family. You have restored my faith that real Men do exist.
This Mother needed this today. My son has moved far away. I’ve packed up his belongings in a trailer that is headed to his new home in Oregon. He is weary so I also sent this to him. I have been really feeling the "pressures" of life lately, and I really needed to see this today. Thank you.
I really like this talk about physical and mental endurance. I think that’s something that many folks are lacking today, but endurance is key to success in life; no matter what you do.
Thank you again D’Wayne!!
Younger generation needs a hear this
Many of us are here listening, brother
We know life is hard. We just hate being told that everything is our fault when our future was stolen from us by banks, politicians, and the older generations.
You're right, anyone over the age of 50 has it all together. All those books written by dead people over the years were actually just talking about millenials and Gen Z. Amazing that they knew. We lost the ability of time travel I guess.
Dad' did you miss Dawayne's point?
@@thelostcosmonaut5555everything that happens in your life is your fault and everything that happens in the future was because of this generation wherever is the outcome good or bad old people retire younger people take their places in society and if they are weaker and not so smart we have what we have today
@RAFAEL199O yeah, last time I checked I didn't hike up the price of houses and apartments by 60 percent.
My grandfather always told us kids when troubled times come around and they will. He says you either deal with it or have a hard time dealing with it period... Good message your bringing to everyone here ... Thanks for sharing sir 💪
Well spoken. Life is indeed hard. My dad always said when the going gets tough the tough get going.
Thank you so much. I have been dealing with a lot emotionally and my family hasn't been very kind to me and all I needed was that encouragement and advice to keep going on. I was about to quit it all and shut myself away for a year but you motivated me enough to keep going on and fight on everyday with a smile. I cannot thank you enough Sir. I wish you well!
"Sometimes I stand between mySELF and my family" - this is something we all do every now and then.
Which really is something to think about and work to stop and reverse.
Thanks for pointing it out Dewayne
Absolutely true. Life throws so many challenges at us, and it's tough to navigate them all. It's a reminder that everyone faces their own struggles, no matter their age. Thanks for sharing this perspective. 😪
Thanks so much Dwayne for saying out loud what many of us feel and know to be true but don’t share with family and friends. It’s difficult not only to find that narrow road but to stay and remain on it. I find the greatest challenge in my life has been to get others on to that road. And the greatest words I hope to hear one day are “Well done my good and faithful servant”. !
WOW! That was like getting a call from a good friend that knows what is going on in my life right at this moment and he tells me exactly what I needed to hear. I know I am not the only one out there. I bet that some one else is thinking the same thing. Thank Dwane I needed that!
„The bell will ring!“

He talks about not crying and stuff but when he said “the bell will ring on this fight, whatever you are in” I literally lost it. And it tore me up
Powerful stuff. As a father of two young daughters, I needed to hear this. Thank you, Sir
As a father of 2 grown daughters, he is exactly right. Never let them see you sweat.
Everyone needs a man like this in their life. Thank you sir for your wisdom! Former Infantry Marine, have my demons from Afghanistan, came home and now I’m a career fireman. Seen a lot, a lot of death. A lot of broken families, torn out hearts of mothers. It’s so much to deal with, and to try to press on and be the best husband and father I can be is overwhelming at times. This life is incredibly difficult and messy, but it’s folks like you that share these pieces of wisdom that help so much in the day to day.

You have a good man. We appreciate his words. Thanks for sharing him briefly. ❤
Thanks for the reminder 🙏

@@AlanThomas-hp3fnI can confirm that 100%
You'll be alright brother.
Keep waiting for that bell to ring... 100 percent feel all of the criteria this man mentioned. Made me realize I wasn't alone. Thank you Sir❤
I'm not a man or religious but I appreciate the good advice, it always seems to help a bit in one way or another. It's amazing what we can learn even from people with different beliefs.
I'm a woman but this really spoke to me. God bless you, sir.
