    J Krishnamurti - The Real Revolution - 8. The end of conflict
    Why are we discontented, and with what? Being discontented with what is, we develop the idea of what should be. There is conflict between what is and what should be.
    The centre in consciousness, the observer, creates a space around itself which is always limited. The center is the accumulation of knowledge and experience. There is no freedom in that space.
    Can the mind be intensely alert without experience? Such a mind is the religious mind.
    The real revolution Series
    These eight programmes were produced and broadcast in America by the National Educational Television Network. They represent the earliest sound films of Krishnamurti speaking to audiences - it was the first time that he had allowed his talks and discussion groups to be filmed. The principle settings are the Oak Grove in Ojai, California, and the Thacher School in the Ojai Valley.

    This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America.
    The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'
    We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.

      Yay great K was so honest such authentic such bla. Look at what we are living in every day. Nothing has changed. Instead of doing the same, he is idolized as if he were special in some way. He's just saying what's true when most everybody else is lying to themselves and too afraid to say what's what while living in the same shit way that is the established colossal failure of humanity.

    All I see is only one thing.
    1. The observer had created what was in its memory through past experiences.
    1. The observer creates “what is” being observed presently using stored memory.
    1. The observer also creates what should be and what it is seeking using its memory.
    1. The observer itself is a static image derived from various past memorized experiences.
    2. There is no such entity that exists separately apart from this entire stored memory including the body, mind, brain mechanism that may be able to modify, control or change itself gradually over time. By creating time the action is postponed. When this division between the what is present and what should be in the future ends that is the End of all conflict!! Then It is clearly seen that all changes can happen only presently in the now or in the future in the then now.

      For everything to end, the psychological time should end. The observer which is a thought is offspring of Time. When the observer ceases, there is direct perception of reality without duality.

    Simply put: All thought, up to this point in time, is conditioned. Therefore not original or fresh, for this moment. And, this moment is all there really is. To be able to detach one's self from all of the conditioning of the mind can't be done with the mind. The essence of who you are, is not thought. To look without judgment, to perceive this moment without thought, is freedom for the mind made illusion that you call, me. Pure, thoughtless awareness. The essence of life.

    K was a man,who did not want to be put in the pedestal and be praised. He understood how the mind work's,he knew that he was also susceptible to the game's of the mind. K, wanted everyone to expirence for themselves what he was saying and not merely listen to him. I have been on this path seeking,understanding philosophy and no one has spoken so precisely as k. Yet, the basic idea of k's teaching's is to forget whatever he has said and to find out for yourself, contradiction! Sometimes we listen just for intellectual stimilus rather than to stop seeking.Thank you for uploading from my deepest self. For over 50 years Krishnamurti had spoken seriously and earnestly of the truth that he found. Yet I haven't heard of anyone who realizes that truth, the so called enlightenment, listening to him. In contrast, thousands of Buddhist monks reportedly achieved enlightenment during the time of Buddha. So is there a flaw in Krishnamurti's message or approach? Or is it just a sign of the time since I haven't seen or heard of any monk who has achieved enlightenment in modern time either! The observer is not the observed. In total attention, with the center dissolved, the observer is no more. When the river joins the sea, the river's identity no longer exists.

    • @leowe.heartishome
      @leowe.heartishome 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      When the person (the ego) dies psychologically due to unbearable suffering, only the realisation remains. It is this infinite freedom that is spoken of. Enlightenment can come suddenly without even having heard of it.
      Even without being near a being that has recognized itself. So it happened here on 12/11/2018. Even the voice and the eyes have changed. ✨♥️

    • @2410-s9l
      @2410-s9l 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      How do you know lots of buddhist monks achieved enlightenment during the Budda's time? Can enlightenment be 'achieved'? You say that the observer is not obserbed?
      Maybe that was K's flaw. You actually have the truth and K was in illusion. Please will you do public talks so that we fools may sit at your feet while you teach us about life?

    • @WilliamDavidHobbs
      @WilliamDavidHobbs 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He is just pointing to the fact that the observer is just another thought to try to get people to realize it. It would seem that modern psychology has put many traps into one becoming realized. Once the observer is poured into the river, who is there left to be enlightened?

    He understands that we tend to be dependent, so he emphasizes the importance of self-exploration.
    Conflict is dissatisfaction with the current situation, and dependence is also a form of dissatisfaction.
    Inquiry is the search for what is going on in the mind when dissatisfaction occurs, and this inquiry requires a quiet mind.
    If you observe the root cause, the root cause will disappear and so the conflict and dissatisfaction will never occur again in any kind of situation.
    You might be unbeliable, but this is fact.
    He can speak because he has experienced it.
    There are several people like this in the world, but they basically don't reveal their true identity because they have no desire for recognition.
    That's why it's so precious that the video remains like this.

  • @zen_basui
    @zen_basui 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    As long as you have even the slightest doubt, your exploration is incomplete.
    The fact that there is a doubt means that there is an object, an concept, to be examined.
    As long as there is a sense of object, conflict and dissatisfaction will never end.
    When the sense of subject and the sense of object completely disappear, there is no room for any doubt, and that is the end of the conflict.
    It will never go back.

    If I have the "psychological space," would I need personal boundaries? Or is it because I insist on my personal boundary, I don't have this psychological space; thus, have no peace in my mind?
    And psychological space = total freedom?...
    Observer means my value system that is rooted in the past...?
    And the past memories make up my ego, selfishness...?
    No ego, no selfishness, then the past is wiped out, leaving me alone in peace... No conflicts, then am able to be aware with no experience, I am totally contented ... with no motive but love and live on

    There is a religiously way of living - free from the grips of time - such that if it were at all possible to verbally communicate precisely what such living involves people would say that to live this way is complete madness. And because there is this way of living, there can be no doubt that it is possible to bring about a mutation in ‘what is’, a mutation that effectively deepens sensitivity and heightens awareness in an extraordinary way.

      @@AndreasDelleske Yes but he says that we must deny any stimulus - internal and external. If you try to do that, you still work with a motive: The motive "I work without a motive".
      When you observe the observer, you make a dichotomy between you and yourself - you don't eliminate the observer. On the other hand, you can be totally aware when you are in great danger: there, the observer is subjectively eliminated, but this experience is not transformational, since it's created by an outward stimulus and you response "by experience".

    is there an understanding without the object to understand? or understanding is a state of being, of the mind which is free from the know. so. it is capable of receiving something immense and eternal?

      Understanding is the goal objective😁!! Not through control but through complete understanding there is no need for control!! Control means my will is still active!!! Freedom from one's own thoughts from one's own conditioning👍 the mind is conditioned correct???? Freedom is State of Mind

      If you chose an object, you can examine it. But if you abandon all concepts and objects for a while you may be able to see you are the object-maker and it’s not necessary to examine much, just be awareness and stay or always return there.
