- Plug-in hybrid SUVs are actually among the fastest-selling automobiles in the U.S. car market. I mean, why shouldn't they? These SUVs are very fuel efficient, as compared to their gas counterparts. At the same time, these plug-ins offer extensive driving range and impressive road performance.
Hence, it's quite exciting to see what's in store for the coming years. Fortunately, SUV manufacturers have already announced some of their new and exciting provisions for the plug-in hybrid market.

My Outlander PHEV is great. Had it six months, running on electricity 90% of the time, charging off my own solar panels. Added 9.7 gals of gas so far. MPG doesn’t mean much when one uses EV most of the time, but is way beyond 150 “miles per gallon” of gas used.

...This guy clearly is not interested in *best* PHEV SUV but in the most premium ones (premium as in "darn overpriced, not so good, spending fortune on advertising"). Actually, he's not even talking about really interesting points like tendency to extend the range of the best SUVs (I mean real best, not "premium best"). In short, it's been a waste of time to watch this video. Clear disinformation.

Definitely not 5 best plug in suv. Besides the Mazda. All the other one can be top 4 money pit after warranty is over.
All suv can go the speed limit, so why all the horsepower.
The earth is not flat. One might need extra horsepower to go uphill. Think about it a little before commenting.
