I wouldn't consider buying any of these brands. GM was on top in the 60s before Toyota overtook them. Now Toyota has lost its luster, along with the Japanese companies in general. Chrysler had the engineering edge during the performance era. Their problem is that Walter Chrysler died in 1940. Ford made a commitment to quality in the late 1980s which put them in the running for some years. European brands have faced increasing competition in recent years and are no longer ahead of the curve in terms of design. GM is making a comeback with a real approach to the future. They are the ones to watch.

Great engines low fuel consumption & long term guarantees up to 300,000 miles then people who be more selective . The normal driver dosent want to change his car before the guarantee is up.
