I would loooove if Jhen Mohran made a reappearance in Wilds, though I highly doubt it since they need a massive desert to be able to move around in ://
This might sound like a random pick but I think both Kushala and Shagaru would both be great elders to have due to their environmental impact on the map. It would be awesome to see the entire map being shrouded in wind storms, or all the monsters on it being driven mad with frenzy, or something like that.
Akantor and Ukanlos more than anything! Reworked fights would go incredibly hard, their gear could be super impactful, especially as title update monsters(and they DO carry an update), and with the recently revealed Gravios, we have perfect prey for Akantor! And between Ukanlos and Gammoth, there's so much setup for an awesome snow area...
Seeing dodogamma in the begin joys me. I had a idea for a sub-species of dodogamma for wilds. Sandmunch Dodogamma. He eats sand/sandstone instead of crystal rocks. While he loses blast element he can spit out molten sand that can set you on fire and blind you (kinda like sandstorms but worse). But if the sand is long enough in the mouth he spews out hot glass instead that gives bleed! When you realize he still got the charge eat attacks and stuff this would be a good challange!
Pukei-Pukei is a wonderful monster imo, would be a good early game monster like how it was in world, and i do think rajang could take a break from reappearing in every game but idk there isnt really just one monster i really dont want to return
7:55 I agree but in Wilds I really want to see Rajang to have a confrontation between him and Ajarakan, I saw a comment when they revealed Aja talking about a confrontation between the two that would cause an explosion of fire and electricity on impact, that would be too badass
I would love to see Great Jagras, because I love his armor and with the swarm mechanic he could be really interesting. I never want to see Rajang again, for the very reason you mentioned. I think Ajarakan could be a nice upgrade. :)
Thats a small mistake a lot of people make a lot of people make where they look at a games graphics to try and figure out what engine it might use, even thou graphics are the smallest aspect of an engine.
İ would love to see Hypnocatrice return, he fit the style for sunbreak as a cockatrice just like Gyoceros, and he's a sleep monster and most bird like bird wyvern apart from Malfestio
Gravios - Happy they put him back Yama Tsukami - Would be a great elder dragon to put in and new combat, not the boring tower fight Nergigante - Cool design Deviljho - I just missed this guy from mhp3rd
I want gogmazios back (don't know if I spelled it right) he is all about tar and fire it would fit to see him in the oil well basin if the tar oil place has sulfur any where as like a research point deposit sort of item. And I want jyrutodus gone since I can't really see any good muddy place for him this game
Giggnox, Qurupeco, heck with Espinas finally making it to the mainline, we could see a few monsters from Frontier's roster make a comeback. Khezu needs to be buried and forgotten
I really want to see Dalamadur also think he would be great for a small cast of elders along with maybe Jhen Mohran, then for Oilwell I think they are already setting up for Gogmazios at least thats what i'm telling myself. Nakaros would also fit really well for Oilwell. Honestly, elder wise I hope they keep the number less then ten. I hope Kushala, Teostra, and Lunastra get a break. I def think Fatalis will make a appearance, likely dlc. For regular monsters I hope Wilds gives some breath of life to its smaller rosters of monsters like amphibians, temnocerans, and neopterons, especially snake wyverns which I hope get at least one new one. Personally I really hope to see Najarla, Nercylla, Zamtrios, Kecha, Akantor, Gravios, Gigginox, Sergios, Ukanlos, Agnaktor, Nibelsnarf, Queen Seltas, or Gammoth which based on the direction they're going I think a few of those will appear like Kecha and Gammoth.
Nakarkos, Dire Miralis, Gogmazios, Dalamadur... It takes so long for final boss monsters to come to future titles, I feel like we need an anniversary title like Gen U that just brings all these guys back
Seltas and Queen Seltas should be included, if not in base Wilds, then in early MR. Since Wilds incorporates battles with multiple large monsters (Doshaguma and Kut-ku to name two) the Seltas can introduce a twist on that.
I would love to see more Seltas/Seltas Queen, Nerscylla/Shrouded Nerscylla, Dalamadur/Shah, gigginox, Agnaktor, Qurupeco, my boy Lagiacrus, and lord Gog make a triumphant return.
If Frontier Monsters count, then I know two that ABSOLUTELY deserve to be not only in Wilds, but the mainstream games in general: Odibatorasu and Kuarusepusu.
I don't think Frontiers monsters can come back in mainline. Granted this was while the MMO was still going but Capcom got in sone shit with the Frontiers community when Lavasioth and Hypnocatrice (Which previously were Frontiers-only) were added to mainline games. Even though the servers were publicly shut down a lot of it seems like Capcom has washed their hands of the MMOs and are unlikely to add any monsters exclusive to that game into mainline again.
they've already shown that former flagships with stories can reappear, they are not attached to their old stories. big examples of this are Valstrax and Gore...so flagships can return and not be tied to their original story.
I want Lagiacrus more than anything! Unfortunately for me, the monster I didn't want back already is, Gravios. They did make him and his fight look amazing, so I'm pleasantly surprised
I would love to see Seregios in the desert area( i don't know the name cuz i'm stupid ), it's Seregios' main locale, and since the area is ENORMOUS, i see it being perfect for Seregios
Valstrax, Seltas Queen, and Nibelsnarf are my top picks to return to Wilds. Valstrax would look so cool ambushing. Seltas Queen would bring the concept of duo fights with synchronized attacks back. Nibelsnarf to roll mega barrels into it's mouth.
My personal thinking on this is that if a monster showed up in both of the Gen 5 games, I want them left behind this time around (with the exception of the raths, of course). Of the returning monsters I would want to see, +1 to Malfestio. Valstrax is my personal favorite, so while I would love to see it return, I doubt we will so soon again after Rise. To round it out, Gogmazios. I think it could work well in the Oilwell Basin, and it's just such a cool monster regardless.
So I really do want Rajang back in Wilds. The arena quests for it were my warmups for World lol. In all seriousness, I'd love to see Gammoth and Malfestio because I've never fought them being a World baby. For elders, I'd love to get a chance to fight Dalamadur, Nakarkos, Yama Tsukami, or Gogmazios.
Ngl i love Zinogre so much I wouldn't mind seeing him in every game😅 Would love to see a new monster to take Barroth's place. A multi-player siege mode remake of Atal Kha would be sick, I think
My fingers are crossed that Magnamalo will return, and maybe Tetsucabra since he was technically in Rise, but he is not a monster we could hunt. One monster I don't want to see return is Jyuratodus. He's not very fun to fight because he's too easy, plus we got a better mud monster in the form of Almudron.
They said there will be a smaller focus on elder dragons… So I think nergaganta and other monsters that can fight elders would make alot of sense Deviljho rajang The twin gods. This could explain the lack of elders. Usually they rule their domain. But with so much competition they don’t find it worth it here
I genuinely have been wanting on e sole monster back in monster hunter for some time now, and that is Great Jaggi. They’re already reintroducing yian kut ku into the series and it doenst seem like with how things are goin that it will just be some starter monster. And with wilds’ marketing, I feel like it as good opportunity to tune up an otherwise “lesser” monster and make it a decent threat. Plus I’ve loved great jaggi with all my ever since I first started playing tri. It’s design weapons armor and general fight and ecology were one of my all time favorite in the series. One monster I don’t want to see come back is obviously zinogre. We’ve seen more than enlightening of the edgelord thunder pseudo wolf it’s been in pretty much every single mainline game for the past 10 ish years I was never a fan of its fight design weapons or armor, and when I fight it, its Ideally to get its hunt out of the way. I know I’m on the minority on this snd they’re likely gonna bring it back in some capacity in wilds. But that’s just my two cents.
Valstrax should be a super boss of the franchise, just like capcom did with Bass.ex, a challenge you only take post-story as a very difficult boss rewarding you with personal win and, if you are crazy enough to grind, a top tier armor in terms of drip and raw defense
I really hope that at least some monsters that were in 5th gen return. Apart from Rathalos, Rathian, Zinogre and the small monsters. Because right now, the game feels so extremely different from normal games, that I hope at least a few familiar faces shows up... And I don't want monsters that were in both Worldborne and Risebreak. Like Rajang or Kushala Daora. But I will accept them if a variant/subspecies/deviant/rare species that wasn't in 5th gen returns, or a completely new one If that makes sense :D
My most requested returning monsters Zenaserisu MH Frontier Akura Vashimu MH Frontier Najarala MHGU Seltas Queen MH4 Queripeco MH3 Who I don't want to see return Zinogre. Boy has been in EVERY game since his debut in MH3 Portable. The thunder wolf needs a vacation.
I doubt it will happen anytime soon but I want to see Kecha Wacha return. Idk why I like it so much but it was the first difficult fight I had in 4u so it kinda stuck.
I want the Najarala to make a comeback, only so that people will remember that Snake Wyverns are a thing in the Monster Hunter-franchise. 😭 Also Nibelsnarf, I want it to be the natural predator of the Balahara.
I really don't think thematic sense matters whatsoever. No one is gonna complain about fan favorites coming back just cause their main story reason for existing isn't present. If Gore can come back, So should Malzeno and anyone else with such a big story presence. I desperately want to see Malzeno, Magnamalo, and Vaal in Wilds. But most importantly, the one monster I want to see back more than any monster, is Qurupeco. Followed by Lagi
I already got my baby boy yian kut ku, all I could hope for now is something like lau shan lung or Yama tsukami because I’ve never had a chance to fight them properly. Also would love to see odogaron and that would be the perfect game.
I just enjoy brawling it out with diablos as a lance user, and it would fit the desert extremely well. I do get it though if my gal doesn’t make it, I’ll just have to find some one else to simulate two rams fighting with
While i did prefer Rise's return to Classic Zinogre over World's redesign, it would be interesting to see how a World/Wilds more semi-realistic aesthetic would treat Magnamalo.
My number one pick to return is easily Zamtrios. He’s such a cool monster (pun intended) because he has multiple unique things to him. The ice armor, the puffing up, being a frog shark. I really hope he returns in wilds. I don’t think there’s any monster I really don’t want. Every monster has its fight revamped when coming to a new game, so ones I didn’t like before could be fine now. And I get the idea of giving fan favorites like Zino and Narga a break but also they’re fan favorites for a reason. I really can’t imagine being upset at their inclusion. So instead I’ll say this: I really hope there’s not another siege monster. At least not like Kulve and Safi. I hated basically everything about them and I hope if the devs try again they SIGNIFICANTLY change the way it worked from World.
My choice would have to be Great Jaggi. He is the only raptor from mh3 I have not seen in any other game. Cause in Rise you have Baggi and Wroggi, but not him. I always thought he looked so cool and just his unique roar I liked. So maybe with pack monsters they could do like a big group of Jaggis and have like a mated pair along with a bunch of the smaller versions to make this giant raptor pack you gotta deal with.
I'd say for returning monsters my list has 3 main factors, monster diversity, the giant monsters, and monsters that deserve more love and the core cast as I see it should return aswell, with that being said here's my list by map, however I do not expect them all to be in but it would be my dream, this is also my vision for the expansion and title updates WINDWORD PLAINS Qurupeco Barroth Daymio hermitar Seregios Diablos Monoblos SCARLET FOREST Yian garuga Tetranadon Somnacath Najarala Seltes Seltes Queen Zinogre Nargacuga Lagiacrus OILWELL BASIN Tetucabra Nerscyla Basarios Shogun Agnaktor Brachydios Akantor ICE MAP Gigginox Blangonga Zamtrios Tigrex Barioth Goss harag Gammoth Ukanlos INVADERS Rajang Bazelgeuse Deviljho I also want the following elders to come to wilds, and id like them to take the moveset if the rise risin elders Kushala daora Teostra Lunastra Chemelos Namille Velkhana Kirin Nergigante Gogmazios Yama tuskami Dalmadur Crimson fatalis White fatalis For monsters I don't want magnamalo is top of that list as he's my least favourite, any that has to much overlap like Khezu vs gigginox for example, and frontier monsters not because I don't like em but I think theres a lot of main series monsters that deserve a go first, mabye MH7 can be the time for fronter
I just want Zamtrios. upon the first announcement for wilds, all i could hope for was Nakarkos. but now that the black flame is a thing, I think that's close enough. It might even be that lore wise, the black flame IS a nakarkos that just hasn't assimilated the bones of other monsters yet. justt a premature version of the real thing. So for me, right now, It's all Zamtrios.
Personally, I want Nakarkos and Dalamadur back since I have only seen other players fight them and never fought them myself before. I also hope that Wilds have an endgame boss as challenging as Fatalis in World
5th gen hunter that is working on GU (just started, dont ask) I would like to have sheieking legiana as i feel it missed its potential in iceborne, but could hit it in wilds, and i never want to zenogre or rajang again, zenogre becuase Iceborne ver, was a boring break dancer (stygian was fun) and rise felt wierd like his timing is off, and rajang because i dislike his fight mechanics involving enraged mode, where you take a aggressive monster, then turn it up and also your weapons bounce off of his front half.... not a fun time. To be fair, i dont like monsters that force you to fight them in one specific way, as that removes options to play, and rajang feels very one dimensional in the 2 games I've faced him so far, and that could be where my issues with him are
Thank you for your sensitivity to spoilers. Anyway, I want Gogmazios back, and I want Teostra to rest. I am very, very tired of Teo meta. Meanwhile, I have never fought Gog before and I adore its ecology and theme. I also want Monoblos to temporarily replace Diablos. I am very tired of fighting Diablos, but if they want that fight to be in every game, at least give us the og ceratopsian wyvern every so often. I like the design of Monoblos a bit better, anyhow. Something I'd like to mention about Rathalos/Rathian is that not only are they the series mascot (or at least Rathalos is), but canonically, they are the most widespread flying wyverns in the world.
Personally i have no real problem with Magnamalo potentially coming back in wilds. Its unlikely because hes a relatively new flagship similar to how nergigante didn't show up in rise because of how new it was back then If he dose come back make it ether make it endgame, title update or DLC. If a ridiculously over designed monster like Zinogre can come back in world i can see the same thing happen with Magnamalo. As long as the hunt is fun im fine with the occasional rule of cool monster returning.
Grimson fatalis, white fatalis, dalamadur and gogmazios. These are the monsters i want to return.Come on gogmazios is like a 90% he returns. The oil basin area spoils it alone. And the game is sequel of world and in world was fatalis so grimson and white fatalis are likely to return. Also, they have put monsters from monster hunter 4 and dalamadur was in 4+he was suppossed to be in world so everything talks by itshelf.
Primordial Malzeno could return because it Malzeno without the Qurio. The only issue would be what to replace the Bloodened mechanic with since having Qurio randomly swarming Primordial and juicing him up and have no impact on the plot wouldn't make sense.
That's true but also Primordial's role is to fight against the Qurio (hunting them down in a sense to protect his kingdom), so you would think they need to be around for him to be in the game. Other people in the comments have mentioned other monsters like Goremagala technically fall into this same category but made returns anyway, so who knows!
@@ZennyHunteri mean, Primordial *is* naturally occurring and doesnt exist purely because of the qurio. As such he could reliably just be there, like how Teo or Kushala are often "just there"

I want dodogama in the oilwell basin and kulu ya ku in scarlet forest and windward plains cuz theyre my favorites!!!
I am a newbie in the monster hunter community my first game was mhs and then mhs2 then I got into world then rise now im just waiting for wilds
I would loooove if Jhen Mohran made a reappearance in Wilds, though I highly doubt it since they need a massive desert to be able to move around in ://
I could see that as a more special quest though!
@@ZennyHunter I hope so! I miss my giant sand whale
Yesss! I was just telling a friend about both whales
I mean, in the beta.We started on sand ships! I could potentially see Jhen Moran returning
And between Ukanlos and Gammoth, there's so much setup for an awesome snow area...
there's so much i want back but honestly, id love goss harag
6:30 I’m assuming you mean in a World/Wilds type art style, since Rise and Wilds already run on the same engine.
Thats a small mistake a lot of people make a lot of people make where they look at a games graphics to try and figure out what engine it might use, even thou graphics are the smallest aspect of an engine.
Honestly Gogmazios being sort of like kulve taroth in wilds would be perfect as we already have the perfect locale.
I’m thinking about who I would want from world/iceborn and I really want odogaron and/or ebony odogaron, such an awesome monster
İ would love to see Hypnocatrice return, he fit the style for sunbreak as a cockatrice just like Gyoceros, and he's a sleep monster and most bird like bird wyvern apart from Malfestio
Gravios - Happy they put him back
Yama Tsukami - Would be a great elder dragon to put in and new combat, not the boring tower fight
Nergigante - Cool design
Deviljho - I just missed this guy from mhp3rd
Lunagaron pleeez 🎉
I want gogmazios back (don't know if I spelled it right) he is all about tar and fire it would fit to see him in the oil well basin if the tar oil place has sulfur any where as like a research point deposit sort of item. And I want jyrutodus gone since I can't really see any good muddy place for him this game
I want to see Legiana return. We've seen her using pack mechanics already, and I think Wilds could really flesh out the fight and interactions.
Giggnox, Qurupeco, heck with Espinas finally making it to the mainline, we could see a few monsters from Frontier's roster make a comeback. Khezu needs to be buried and forgotten
I think that the apexes will take the same role as the fated four but i still hope for gamoth
I NEED namielle to return one of my favourite monsters
4:04 I definitely want Magnamalo in WILDS dlc, but my main reason isn't just his fight😅.
4:04 Goss deserves WILDS
I hope rajang never shows his face again....i got a kinsect with ptsd to treat.....i hope zinogre comes around
Plus we have Ajarakan to take his place for a little while, let the monkey rest!
Ngl i love Zinogre so much I wouldn't mind seeing him in every game😅
Would love to see a new monster to take Barroth's place.
A multi-player siege mode remake of Atal Kha would be sick, I think
Most wanted back is Lagiacrus.
Rajang has actually had several breaks, but one that hasn't is Zinogre. Huge fan favorite yeah, but he needs a break
Several breaks? The only Gen he skiped was 3, other than that he was in every game since his introduction in DOS.
They said there will be a smaller focus on elder dragons…
So I think nergaganta and other monsters that can fight elders would make alot of sense
Deviljho rajang
The twin gods.
This could explain the lack of elders. Usually they rule their domain. But with so much competition they don’t find it worth it here
I hope 2 of my Favorites of all time are coming back
Akantor
Ukantor
But I will accept them if a variant/subspecies/deviant/rare species that wasn't in 5th gen returns, or a completely new one
If that makes sense :D
Mizutsune would be freakin amazing in Wilds! Really hoping the angry monke takes a break this time around
My most requested returning monsters
Zenaserisu MH Frontier
Akura Vashimu MH Frontier
Najarala MHGU
Seltas Queen MH4
Queripeco MH3
Who I don't want to see return
Zinogre.
Also Nibelsnarf, I want it to be the natural predator of the Balahara.
The Magalas are my favs so I wish they would return. Kinda unlikely since we just saw them but I would kill to see gore magala in wilds graphics
I REALLY want Magnamalo in Wilds, simply because Now gave me a taste of Magnamalo without wire bugs and I WANT MORE!!!!
Yooo, you thought way more about your list than mine 😂. I just think who I haven't seen in a while and like a lot.
Much love brother.
Haha not at all you added a lot of value in your videos, love man 👊
I really want Seltas queen in wilds, especially with the new herd mechanic
I'd say for returning monsters my list has 3 main factors, monster diversity, the giant monsters, and monsters that deserve more love and the core cast as I see it should return aswell, with that being said here's my list by map, however I do not expect them all to be in but it would be my dream, this is also my vision for the expansion and title updates
WINDWORD PLAINS
Qurupeco
Barroth
Daymio hermitar
Seregios
Diablos
Monoblos
SCARLET FOREST
Yian garuga
Tetranadon
Somnacath
Najarala
Seltes
Seltes Queen
Zinogre
Nargacuga
Lagiacrus
OILWELL BASIN
Tetucabra
Nerscyla
Basarios
Shogun
Agnaktor
Brachydios
Akantor
ICE MAP
Gigginox
Blangonga
Zamtrios
Tigrex
Barioth
Goss harag
Gammoth
Ukanlos
INVADERS
Rajang
Bazelgeuse
Deviljho
I also want the following elders to come to wilds, and id like them to take the moveset if the rise risin elders
Kushala daora
Teostra
Lunastra
Chemelos
Namille
Velkhana
Kirin
Nergigante
Gogmazios
Yama tuskami
Dalmadur
Crimson fatalis
White fatalis
For monsters I don't want magnamalo is top of that list as he's my least favourite, any that has to much overlap like Khezu vs gigginox for example, and frontier monsters not because I don't like em but I think theres a lot of main series monsters that deserve a go first, mabye MH7 can be the time for fronter
seltas(queen), seregios and gobul (ye thats not gonna hapen) would be pretty cool to see again
Ludagaron would be cool to have back. Kushala would be nice to get a break from.
To keep them fresh they could have new movements and combo to make the fight interesting and not repetitive and new things to discover and learn
Bulldrome, plesioth, gigginox - all for newbies entertainment, of course.
Also, definitely want more variants.
No hip check god allowed lol
Legends were told that he can send you flying from zone 5 all the way to 11. And 11 is a mountain top.
To be fair, i dont like monsters that force you to fight them in one specific way, as that removes options to play, and rajang feels very one dimensional in the 2 games I've faced him so far, and that could be where my issues with him are
Tigrex is also one of those monsters that needs a break.
Akantor and Ukanlos, just want to see how the devs going to transform the fight into.
I sincerely hope that if we don't get Lagi back we at least get Agnaktor. It'd be perfect for the fire map
As long as nergigante comes back, I'm happy
Honestly needs to fight Magnamalo.
They don't have a turf war yet
I want him to selfishly, but I think it's best we wait for his return (at least untill dlc)
@ZennyHunter agreed, having nergigante in the base game would not make any sense
I agree, as long as he's given a chance in any future dlcs later on, I'll be glad to see him returning to wilds
Personally i have no real problem with Magnamalo potentially coming back in wilds.
Its unlikely because hes a relatively new flagship similar to how nergigante didn't show up in rise because of how new it was back then
If he dose come back make it ether make it endgame, title update or DLC.
If a ridiculously over designed monster like Zinogre can come back in world i can see the same thing happen with Magnamalo.
As long as the hunt is fun im fine with the occasional rule of cool monster returning.
Monsters I want in Wilds
Arzuros
Gammoth
Glavenus
Brachydios
Malfestio
Tetsucabra
Odogaron
Tigrex
Lagiacrus
Agnaktor
Barlagual
Seregios
Volvidon
Anjanath
Gasurabazura
Giaorugu
Gurenzeburu
Monoblos
Deviljho
One monster I would like back is Namielle, and one that I wouldn’t is Rajang haha
Deviljho
Wilds will be more grounded, and i think they are bringing more original monsters alongside with older generation monsters
