Low ropes are totally about techniques. During my BMT days in the late 80s, when I cleared the ropes, I used extremely minimal arm strength. Almost completely my leg and waist works. I could stop in the middle of the air with my arms outstretched and still wouldn't fall. In case when your feet might lose the ropes, do not hold on to the ropes with your hands like you are superman but kinda hug them close to your chest, then start using your feet to step on the ropes again. Sure can work one. By the time I moved on to the unit, the ropes station was my most favourite one because that was where when I could take a rest.
Think those who didn't do quite well in low rope who always gets blister didn't seem to master the rope lock with their boots. Its mostly pushing up instead of pulling up.
Haha, yes, I always use the SAF Half-Finger Gloves to prevent Rope Burn on my Hands; Unfortunately, I could not do so during BMT as my Platoon Sergeant Banned it with the Excuse that the Gloves caused us to have weaker Grip。
In future modern warfare no need strenuous training. We require highly educated smart soldiers with AI knowledge to man robot soldiers unmanned planes, drones, jam enemies military hardwares. No need macho rambo soldiers.
Can your drone and your AI will carry all your supplies and ammo in a week-long patrol in the deep jungle? Singapore's operational theatre is the jungle and the way a jungle warfare is fought hasn't changed much since the Malayan Emergency. You carry your own load in long distances in tough terrains. That is the business. Besides, the point about the physical training isn't just the body but your mental robustness, your will to endure hardships, your will to fight, your will to crack on and killing the enemy and getting your job done.
I don't know if you' re serious, this seems pretty easy, nothing "rambo" like. Also, I think smart AND fit soldiers are better then just smart soldiers. We're not at the level of AI that you're talking about yet, and even top armies like the US and Russia have way harsher regimes
If I m right - then was :- Age > 35, 2.4 Km need to finish in 12.35 mins( or maybe 13:40 mins) for old folks in reservist. NS time was something like 11.35 mins, I remembered my squad mate done it @8mins++. What the hell happened???
The "pass" is 1 point lmao U need 61 points as a NSF to be considered a pass. So even if you max push up, sit up max also only 50 + 1 point so still failed

all about the legs!
just rub some sands onto your palm will do.
Beautiful Performance❤❤🌏
nowadays SAF soldiers really enjoying good life, only 3 stations instead of 5, even SOC no need to run such long distance, except more obstacles
nowadays starting point is only 10m run ?
Cause we have helicopters to transport soldiers
Still prefer the old 5 stations its easier for me to pass my ippt
pullup, shuttle run and standing broad jump?
@@lyhthegreat yessss
That's the whole point of the new system
3 stations better cos faster finish
Loll. All no count. Shoulder never touch floor during sit-up. Elbows never straighten during push-ups.
