Great video mate! looking forward to the update! I'm on a similar journey, I remember not too long ago doing 25,000 steps in London for 3 days straight and it was no joke, think it even cured my insomnia at the time! Good luck!

Oh right on, good for you, that's awesome! I can't wait to see how far you go. I just started a walking program myself. I'm 300lbs and I've already lost 20lbs doing keto.

Great video! I'm in a similar position to you in this one where I've piled the weight on over the last few years. Started my own walking journey and wanted to see other people's experiences. Hope you're getting on well with it!

Thank you! It's so easily done isn't it?! Congratulations on starting your walking journey! Beginning is the hardest part. I've finished the 100 step challenge (you can see some streams I did on the "Live" tab on my channel) and the game changing results are coming this week!

Very rough estimations place 10000 steps as equivalent to going 5 miles. Even rougher estimations on that place five miles of movement at 500 calories for the average person, so at 20000 a day you are looking at an extra 1000 calories burned on top of everything your body naturally uses up anyway. Over a week that comes out to 7000 calories, or a rough 2lbs of body fat (assuming the body only uses up fat stores and not anything else). Over 100 days an average person will be looking at a loss of 28.5 lbs (100 days * 2 lbs / week (7 days) ) assuming that their caloric intake is otherwise equal to their base expenditure.
Ultimately, the fastest way to lose weight is to simply restrict what you eat. But food is unfortunately oftentimes delicious, and exercise has a number of benefits beyond simply a lower number on the scale.
It will be interesting to see how close you come to the estimates at the end, and how your other factors improve as well.
It can (pretty much) only do good for you, so I wish you well on your journey. Get it done.

technically should have rounded the 28.5 up to 28.6 as it's 28.5714 blah blah blah but it's already inaccurate from the get go because pretty much nobody falls upon the perfect assumed "average", you're pretty much guaranteed to be above or below it to some degree.
