Hated to see Daniel Murphy leave the Mets and ending up with the Nationals! Glad to see him on a Met postgame show. recently. Hope he can do more Mets postgame shows like to get his insight ! Been wearing my Daniel Murphy #28 shirt during the playoff games to bring the team good luck ! He was the guy you wanted to come to bat when the game was on the line ! Thanks Jay for this interview!!

Daniel will always be a Met. Love seeing him and Jose on Old Timers Day. Been sad with the deaths of Krane, Buddy, Grote, McAndrews, and the great Willie Mays. Even Pete. Was at game in 1973 Playoffs for the fight. Proud of Buddy. Sad about losing 120 records to ChiSox. Was at one of the 120 epic games in 1962, 9-2 to Pirates. Only remember Casey was mad, and he ignored us when we called his name. LGM-OMG 🤩

That was cool. Seemed like Murph wanted to and could have easily done another thirty minutes. I appreciate his perspectives ... Recent but also grounded in the past.

Murph will always be a legend for what he did in the 2015 playoffs

I love vientos. He's gonna be a huge star. Finally got David's replacement.
But, i hope the Mets won't give up on baty. Get him in the outfield.

Seeing Wheeler is just a reminder of the INCOMPETENCE OF THE WILPONS.

D Murph in the 2015 postseason was insane! That series specifically when we swept the Dodgers with prime Keyshawn getting shelled!

If we had Murph in 2016, we would have made it to the World Series again

Incredible to remember Showalter trashing Vientos.

Jay it was better than four straight two out hits. It was five Mets in succession who were 0 and 2 and all contributed to that rally. Remember that Alonso hit his sac fly on an 0 and 2 count.

I’m a Mets fan DIEHARD and I don’t think I’ve ever loved a team this much…but my grammar nazi is coming out and I’m sorry. There were no outs and then 4 straight hits, how could Alonso get a sac fly with two outs 😂
