This is all good and all, but I think the gvt should also spend on developing the townships and rural areas, coz if they’re building cities more ppl will leave their villages just to go to the city and build shacks in this beautiful cities. And also, building cities also furthers inequality bcoz it is only the rich that can afford the city life and the poor will continue to be poor. Ever since I’ve started watching the Channel, SA is building around 11 new cities which is good, but I feel like they should also consider the development of rural areas and townships
Very valid points. I agree with you. I will reply to all those questions in the next videos. You guys have to be patient and stay toon. I am only one person here.😁👌
Actually the Rural Development department was formulated for that purpose. And the rural areas in KZN and Limpopo seems like are the only places utilizing the opportunities from this department especially KZN. I know personally agriculture is changing lot of rurals in KZN. You would think they are building estates with the construction happening there.
Yeah,LivinginSatv,We gotta strengthen our economy in South Africa first and then help our needy ones with the money,Develop a lot faster and open up many many businesses.
Hey great video , I know you are super busy but I thought I might as well tell you , I was recently in Pretoria with my family and we ate at a lovely restaurant in Hatfield Square , I noticed how developed and clean the area was , Its probably because of all the new student accommodation that is being built but yoh I can tell you that , that project makes Pretoria look like New York , I mean it was so clean , so developed , I actually took a few pictures I was that impressed
Fantastic 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽💕💕💕 couldn't agree with you more, campaigns to keep our environment clean is important. Coming to Durban developments I like that they don't exclude nature in their designs it just blends in so well, like there was nothing taken from nature💗 spectacular..
Hey Somipisi! How are you? Let me speak about all the investments around the country first. Let's inform ourselves a bit more. These investments are getting exciting by the day.
@@LivinginSAtv I'm fine thanks and hope you are doing well as well. You have a valid point there. We have to inform ourselves so we'll make informed decisions.

@@Joey-nh4wyCorrect. I am well aware of Rwanda 🙂 and is not what it seems. Paul Kagame in order to keep Rwanda in a good way has a "dictatorship" in the country. Take civil liberties away from people is not a good policy. We are still the most progressive country in Africa in many fronts.
@@sfisobuthelezi3054 I'm from Dbn. I don't agree. Many projects have started. I've been to some of them like Cornubia, Umhlanga Arch. The site where The Oceans is being developed etc.
Being from Cape Town I’ve visited Durban a few times and I have to say I was disappointed with the beachfront on my last visit 2017. It’s exciting developments and I believe Durban has so much potential. The weather is tropical and a good holiday destination. I fully support the upgrade 😎
The beach front area is the most looked after treasure by the city of Durban. I am no spokesperson for them but pools have not been functional for some time but the place has made tremendous progress since the late 90s when tourists complained about crime. Ushaka Marine, Promenade extension, Point Waterfront, Suncoast have since been developed. The place is being upgraded with Point Waterfront being clearly visible with a new sea cruise deck. Maybe you were there while they were extending the promenade from the harbour entry point to Umgeni river mouth.
As much as I'm proud of being Black, this is one thing I really love and admire about White people. They are really organized and know how to develop their stuff. They really know how to beautify areas. They know how to also support each other. I think it's high time Black people gotta strongly and attentively learn from them. We honestly have a lot to learn as much as they learn from our style, music genres, e.t.c.. We gotta learn from each other if we wanna rise.

Cool, start by fixing the broken sewerage plants pumping raw sewerage into the ocean where people swim, contracting all sorts of diseases. It's not nicknamed 'Dirtbin' for nothing! 🤔🤔
Which Durban ? I presume you talking about the cbd. Development in Durban is not only in cbd these days. It is mostly Umhlanga, Sibaya, Dube Trade Port and that planned development at Cator Ridge.
This is nonsense the city is in financial trouble and almost broke. I have been to the city center of Durban today the decay. This is a huge flight of fancy. This will not happen . The BRT system is years behind and over budget. This is so far and not viable. I hope I am proved wrong.
