Very nice. I think this has been my style for decades, and I’m not even a Grandma. Simple, classic, natural-fiber clothes in light neutrals are very beloved in my wardrobe, I also like a bit of light blue.
I love light blue as well. I was trying to keep the number of pieces in the wardrobe to a minimum, otherwise, I would have added a crisp blue striped or chambray shirt. Either of those would work wonderfully with all the pieces shown here!
👋 from California! You must live in a colder climate even in summer to wear a turtleneck! I adore the coastal grandmother aesthetic it’s totally me. So glad they named it lol, thx for this video good luck with your channel and happy travels
Hi! The heat is brutal isn't it? I added some options for the summer heat to my post here: www.midliferambler.com/coastal-grandmother-capsule-wardrobe/
There is no way a turtleneck would work this summer in triple digits, or in Arizona for 90 percent of the time. We need a southern or Arizonan coastal grandmother look with Capri pants, shorts, sleeveless tops and lightweight tops.
@@lauriedettelback1179 Hey guys - I 100% agree. I'm up in New England and didn't anticipate the 95+ temps when I made this video. I've updated the blog post at www.midliferambler.com/coastal-grandmother-capsule-wardrobe/ with some more realistic options and will add some other realistic options to the post tomorrow. I'm still keeping it kinda coastal grandmother in what I'm wearing at the moment - a white tank and linen shorts - so it can be done!
Yes! It’s been so hot and humid over most the world actually, all over Europe, we really all need to discover outfits for hot weather, linen , loose light dresses, breathable fabrics, all while remaining stylish
I loved the style! I think many of us had all the pieces but didn’t know it. Thanks for video. It’s helpful.
The solid white looks are my fav on you! TY.

I live in So Cal right by the beach and would agree the items you mentioned would work here also.
