Both looked so yummy. I made the crazy cake tonight and it was delicious! I haven’t made crazy cake since I moved to Arkansas 6 years ago. I have no idea why I haven’t, It’s so easy!
Wow those biscuits look great. I have never folded mine like that but I am going to start doing it this way. My Mom is from West Virginia and her mother made the fluffiest biscuits. She would put bacon grease on top after baking. They were so good.
Thanks for watching Wendy! I haven’t tried putting bacon grease on top of the biscuits. I have put it on the bottom, but next time I will try what your grandma did with the bacon grease on top. 😊
Good evening Pretty lady! Theres I think both the recipes are basically the same because the self rising flour kind of already has the baking powder and the heavy cream is like have milk and butter. If I have the self rise flour I make the two ingredients but sometimes have to turn it into 3 because I might not have the heavy cream so I just add a couple tablespoons of melted butter to my milk lol. Also I just found out if your heavy cream goes sour you can still make butter from it!
Hello Rachael! Great tip on the heavy cream! I bet the sugar in the first recipe made the difference. I love that there are so many different ways to make biscuits 😊. Hope you guys are doing good and thanks for watching!
@@Thehomesteadinghills I also love so many varieties this way you always have something to throw together in the pantry to make them! You can also make flat bread using half flour with half of either a cooked potato or sweet potato with a pinch of salt then cook them with a little oil in your cast iron pan.
Loved seeing these recipes and had no idea you can make a pan of biscuits with only two ingredients. Thank you for sharing! I love your videos!!

Can you do some tips on how to get a sourdough starter going?
I will work on getting a video on how to get a sourdough starter going. Thank you so much for the suggestion!
I wonder if it was the sugar that made a difference!
