Looks amazing! Quick question for you…. So I've mastered removing stars and fixing elongated stars, but I was wondering if there's a way for the program to leave faint Galaxies while doing this. Cheers Isaiah C. Hood!
That Hyperstar is serving you well, Rich!! Are you also using an EAF focuser? If so, do you leave the mirror locks on the EdgeHD loose or locked? I've read that it's bad to lock the mirror and change focus.
Can you tell me if you are using a mono camera and which one? What guide tube ? I guess you need to use special filters (LRGB and OIII and Ha) with the Hypersyar, which one are you using ? All these questions because I am serioulsy considering having a very similar set up as yours. Many thanks, clear skyes
No I'm not imaging in mono. This is an OSC. PlayerOne Poseidon-C. No guiding when I'm using the Hyperstar. If you visit my Community tab here on TH-cam, I have details for each image I post, including the ones in this video.
@@DeepSpaceAstro OK. From your experience, what mono camera could you recommend me to make pictures of asteroides (that is what I want to do, to send data to the MPC) ? Thank you.
extrem cool👍
That Iris is spectacular. I always have issues with dark nebulae. Rest are amazing as well, great payoff with the hyperstar.
Thanks Naz! Loving the Hyperstar!

Thanks! Unfortunately, there are no settings to adjust in Starnet. So if it removes something like a faint galaxy, there's nothing to prevent that.

It is, and I love this thing! Yep I use an EAF with the mirror locks unlocked. Only time I tighten them down is if I'm travelling with the scope.
@@DeepSpaceAstro Thanks!!
@@DeepSpaceAstro No probs with mirror flop, then? I am Jones-ing hard for an EdgeHD 8. ;-)
Nothing I noticed. I have NINA's AF watch the stars, and if they go 10% past the previous measurement, it runs AF again.

No band shift issues with such a fast optic ?
Nope. The IDAS filter is designed for fast optics.
