This is how I’ve started storing my straps. I pull the hook all the way to the ratchet, and then roll and tie the strap just like this. I can easily toss them around and they stay put. I can also grab and carry three straps at a time in each hand without them coming unwound.

Genius
This is "THE" way to do this. I mostly just haul plywood so after I rolled it up as shown here I just left it.
Thanks for posting.
Thanks bro I couldn’t remember to save
Y life how to tie the tail end of the straps this way. Appreciate you man!!
"That ain't goin nowhere" (you're welcome)
Gotta give it three pats, too.
Everyone forgets this part.
Looking good bud, miss ya man
It will come undone because he failed to say “it ain’t going anywhere”
What exactly happened in the middle of that Cinnabon??
I use my straps too often for this to be efficient, not a fan of having to roll them up every time I want to use them (multiple times a day usually).
Make sure ratchet is locked!
Genius
This is actually not gonna work because you forgot to say “it ain’t going nowhere”
Close but no cigar
Reusable zip ties are your friend.

Isn’t that going to bounce around though?
