Love your enthusiasm and wonderful breaking down the elements of each part for the stroke - whatever it may be, serve, forehand etc. This is often so over looked when teaching/coaching. Most coaches just say..do this..or do that... but don't get YOU to feel and understand each element of the hows and whys. I used to have a very consistent serve...now, it has gone to pot...and i struggle to get it back. Most of it is in my ball toss...so I was keen to see your tips. Great videos... keep it up.
Datri and Dayday, that was one of your best videos with all your charm, expertise, and comedy we expect! Can’t wait to do your challenge. You’ve pointed out so many things I can work on and so many ways to help! You two are amazing.
Thanks for sharing your insights on the serve. BTW I noticed you are using the Vcore pro 97 towards the end of the video. I'm curious to know how it compares with the Ezone and Wilson PS for serving. Many thanks.
Yes, you're on point Jinxfire! The waiter's tray is most commonly done with a Semi-Western or Eastern forehand grip. But it's also possible to do with the continental. It's all about your hitting arm and wrist angle in the trophy position.
This was an amazing video! Just one tip - i think u should make a video for juniors playing tennis because these are very hard for them to hit. Anyways great work and keep it up.
When I have to negotiate with the wind, my tossing always loses horribly. But I do have a question on tennis rules. Can you serve with one racket and then receive serves with another racket? Because I can hit ground strokes with heavy racket, but I need a much lighter racket for serving.
It would seem tall players have an advantage serving. What do you think of Nick Kyrgios’ serve? Do you like his low toss, rapid acceleration, and deception?
11:52 LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : )))))))))))) You´re amazing, guys! I learned a lot from you. KUDOS !!!!!!!! Bruno Lopes from Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL
Hi Yogmitradinkar, yes, pronation (and more importantly internal shoulder rotation) are typically used by all elite servers. However, some players like Murray will stop pronation through contact. It's worth experimenting with if you have any shoulder mobility issues. But typically, the full internal shoulder rotation and forearm pronation through contact will help you get the most power on your serves.
Thanks for watching!! Which mistake did you find yourself making on your serve (if any)? If you liked this video, be sure to join our *5-Day Serve Power Challenge* and let me know what you think: bit.ly/3FkqcAy
Too often, my feet are still back-loaded on the toss (weight on back foot). Also I put the ball up too passively, rather than the speed needed to toss the ball up to a decent height. Also, sometimes I don't have a target in my mind, I've not decided where I want the ball to land. Finally, if I do serve well, I'm too passive in preparing for the return and I miss a serve/volley opportunity. Apart from that, my serve is perfect hahaaa.
This is great tips but in stead saying mistakes please talk about right thing to do. Because saying mistake making newbie more confusing. just my opinion. thanks
The jokes and laughing seemed a bit scripted to me. There was nothing so funny it would've been spontaneous like it appeared. However, the advice given is great, and this was a far more engaging serve video cos he wasn't just standing there talking to the camera, racquet and ball in hand not using it ( why do all the other videos do that?.....So dry!) Despite what I've said, it was more fun to watch.

Sure, second serve mistakes very common, and a like video would be very much appreciated. Great work!
You bet, Thomas! Thanks for watching.
You guys make watching tennis videos fun. Appreciate all you do!
Thanks, MoonDoy! We're glad you liked the video.
Love this video! Would love a separate video on the errors in second serves.
Where do you teach?
Awesome video, worth watching regularly to absorb the multiple tips. Great sense of humour too, very cool.

Great video yall! I also love y'all personalities... it makes the video more enjoyable! I'll be taking these tips out on the court very soon!
Hahaha, thanks Cortez! Let me know how it goes 👌
I've noticed that the waiter serve position often occurs with a semi western forehand grip (7:43) during a serve.
Thanks for the great content!

It's really awkward to wait tables with an eastern 1hb grip, so go there!
Great tips! Would be awesome if you could do separate videos on over-rotation and second serves
Thanks for the suggestion, pakchu2. We'll kind in mind!
Excellent as always! Yes, please cover second serve issues - the bane of my existence.
Enjoyed this including the mental part...I'm playing only VR tennis so far but applying real techniques with a racket adapter (First Person tennis)
Lmao
I struggel with my toss way too much. Love your videos! I hope to have your guys serves one day
Yes to 2nd Serve fixes .. thanks in advance, you guys are awesome
Does 'stepping into' serve, like what Safin does, help?by stepping in, i cannot toe up like Sampras does. Which way is better?
Love the comedy added to this video. It keeps the viewers engaged.
Great video, please also make one on second serves, thank you!
Is that the new 2023 vcore 98 ? How do u see it vis a vi the ezone 100.. pls do a comparison video 😊
You guys are awesome. Great content! clear instructions with top notch comedy 👏😅

Yep! Perfectly describes my serve!!! Great vid!!
Hahaha. That's so cool. Good to know that negative voice will follow me into my VR tennis experience. 😅
11:43 LOLOLOL
How tall are you guys? Serves are fantastic!

How many rackets are in this video? =)
Love these
When I serve I can’t seem to get the ball to stay in and after my biceps is sore as hell lol
You're not alone! Chances are, your arm is tight swing up to the ball. Try relaxing your forearm and bicep when you are in the pre-throw position 👍
I think a video on 2nd serve mistakes would be even more helpful than this video. You're only as good as your 2nd serve
