Yawning Man was Gary Arce and for awhile he was playing these tunes with Billy Cordell and they were performing under the name Big Scenic Nowhere. When Fatso wanted them on a split - those were the newest songs he had written and so he recorded them as Yawning Man. He still thinks of Dark Meat as a Big Scenic Nowhere song. He told me that like 2 minutes ago. He said he loves the way Billy plays and I sensed he sort of regretted not recording them with Billy Cordell. Maybe he should so we can A and B the tunes.
