They played Enough, Enough Now in Ukraine (Lviv and Kyiev) in 2018, and it's the only time they ever played it live, because Noah avoids even talking about this song, as it is really painful for him. The lyrics are devastating, along with his cry screaming of deep hurt. I heard the live recording last night and I cried. It's on TH-cam, uploaded by Maria Semonova. Have you heard the live version (2018)? I watched them (there's 2 recordings - one in Lviv and one in Kyiv, Ukraine) and I cried! Such intense emotion! 😭 Especially the second verse, gets me every time.
This along with “The Letdown” from their first album got me through a pretty nasty break up when it first came out in 2016. Can’t even tell you how many times I played this song in 2016 & 2017 😅 Definitely not for everyone but there’s something to be said about the raw emotion and the desperation with the lyrics. Sonically, I think the song is beautiful. Someone posted an instrumental on TH-cam and it’s even more haunting and beautiful. Another great reaction my dude!
I'm shocked you reacted to this one to be honest. This song holds a special place to me, but I FULLY agree that this band has grown immensely since this album.
Even though this isn’t one of your favorite tracks, I appreciate that you articulate that the song is still good, just not every song can be a favorite. This song is more about the lyrics than anything for me.
Maybe not one for the workout playlist but a good song nonetheless. Although to be fair, I don't think they have any bad ones, just some I prefer more 😅 I would be interested to hear your thoughts on Miracle, I think you will enjoy it btw
