@@daltonevans3412 Vincent Riquier left Bad Omens because he had a bad back injury on the 2017 European tour. I'm not sure what exactly happened, but seeing how aggressively he played the bass, he was jumping and rotating and headbanging heavily and throwing himself, giving it his all, really enjoying it (you can see that on live performances from 2016 and 2017). Plus the fact that they played these shows every single day for 23 days straight with no day off, having just one day off after a week of festivals, I guess he was really burning out (you can check their 2017 Europe tour dates online and see for yourself). So, I guess that's why he got his back injured, maybe he fell down on stage or backstage. And then while he was recovering, he had a lot of time for retrospect, and he decided that his health and peace of mind were more important, so he decided to quit touring, thus leaving the band. It was his personal decision and Bad Omens respected it. He has been a tattoo artist in Richmond, Virginia, long before he joined Bad Omens, and he is still tattooing to this day. (There's an official post/message from Bad Omens and from Vincent personally, it's on the band's Facebook page still.)
Love any Bad Omens song but I agree it's hard to for any other songs to break through my top 5 which are as follows, 1) Death Of Peace of Mind 2) Dethrone 3) Kingdom Of Cards 4) Artificial Suicide 5) Mercy
My top 5 is Kingdom of cards Death of peace of mind Like a villain Never know Limits Have them on constant rotation but burning out is definitely top 10
The lyrics in this song are just exquisite. Really does tell a story. This whole album is 🤌 I guess the ShipRocked festival is your next opportunity to see them live, unless you can manage to get a ticket (and yourself) to one of the EU shows that still has tickets. Most are sold out though.
