    Hi. My back brake v brake caliper is very stiff on one side. How can I make it work better?

      Disconnect the cable and unhook the spring from the perch (if it has that type of spring), and with everything isolated, feel how each brake arm pivots. if it's tight on the side your having trouble with, try lubricating it with tri-flow or something light. If that doesn't help, sometimes there's excessive paint on the brake post from the frame paint, or the bushing inside the brake arm is distorted and needs to be smoothed out or opened up a little if that makes sense. Basically, both brake arms should pivot easily with little to no resistance when moved by hand.

      @@JoeyMesa Hi thanks for the reply. Yes I tried this already they both work fine however when I put the cable back on it causes them to stick again? Therefore what would you suggest?
